episode 2 of season 2 missing?
The Elder Lich is that adventurer leader who came with Momon to dispose "the vampire" in Season 1. The damage on his skull from Mare's staff bash is still there. In terms of power level, it's only level 22. Zaryusu is level 20 while Crusch and Zenberu are level 18.

@@YaBoyRockLee To be fair there was no information on that in the anime, that information comes from light novel and web series. If u both want more information on the series check out the light novels.

@@geebeepman The series started as a web novel ( books written online on certain websites by hobbyists that people can read for free) the author started it when his dnd group broke up. It was picked up by a publisher who helped fix the potholes rewrite and improve the story and turned it into a light novel series that was sold for profit. The light novel was then adapted into an anime and manga at about the same time but the anime has over taken the manga ( at least in the English translation).

The point of the battle was to test cocytus to see if he can think on his own.
Ainz is testing if the NPC'S can learn and adapt like real living beings

When Cocytus was getting advice from Demiurge notice how he suddenly shuts up and it pans to Entoma who just sent a message. She basically just sent a message to Demiurge saying "dude stfu, Ains is testing him to see if he can adapt and react and you're fucking with that".
The dragon isn't a player, just a being who dealt with players and knows of there existence.

Basically, the reason why green claw would eliminate any tribe that won't ally themselves with them is because if green claw loses in the battle then the survivors can move to another tribe's settlement and live there but also so the other tribes won't try to kill the survivors because green claw are now weakened.
Rororo was found by zaryusu as a baby. The hydra was abandoned because it was defective (it had 4 heads instead of 6). Rororo's dream is to evolve into a lizardman because his dad (zaryusu) is a lizardman.
About that thing with Ainz wanting humans to live. First off you guys need to depart away from typical isekai protagonists.
Ainz can't give 2 sh*ts about humans. He had -500 karma (extreme evil) he doesn't care what happens to human and he won't kill without reason but he will kill any human gets in his way.
Tl;dr Ainz is not a good person so the things he does are morally questionable just keep this in mind going forward especially for season 3.

You guys are right, Ainz just want to conquer them but also it is a way to spread the name Ainz Ooal Gown, also I do not remember if they mentioned it but also excitement on lizard people to see the type of undead they can make and if they didn't sorry for the spoilers. But all in all is just Ainz becoming the overlord because that what he is lol
13:10 its not that they need a specific type of fish but they are lizardmen, predators, they cant digest plant matter and the like as omnivores can, they must have meat, be it fish, fowl, beef or long sheep of domestic or human varieties. Thus why fish-farms are so crucial cause that or other techniques of husbanding cattle or the like, they have no way to provide themselves with steady, persistent supplies of food.

in episode 13, before the end of season 1! the crew was talking about AIN's undeads, and the fact that they need to have many for a potential enemy attack uafter the shaltear incident... and then demiurges told ains that he discovered group of villages inhabitated by lizardmen which are perfect specimens for a stronger undead army(which means, they need lizardmen corpse) thats why the season starts with the LIZARDMEN CAMPAIGN... hey need to kill every lizardmen for their corpse...

No, they will use the lizard people's carcasses to make stronger undead. Human carcasses can only support death knights and elder liches. What I meant is permanent undead. Momonga can summon undead but he needs corpses to posses to make them permanent, they're trying to experiment which species can support higher tier undead.

My dude Zaryusu got that Jungle Fever. I thought that he was looking at the background instead of the words but I wasn't sure until now.
I could say quite a bit on this episode from the Light Novel point of view but will hold on until next reaction as it could spoil bits.
The Penguin is actually a joke character created by one of the supreme ones, he is a level 1 NPC with images of grandeur of being able to rule, and the best way to do that is to clean 🤣😂
Something that I can say that isn't in the anime is the lizardman with the armour bone armour, the armour itself is actually one of the great relics like Frost Pain, it grants the wearer greater protection and strength if I remember correctly, but at a cost of reducing the intelligence of the wearer permanently.
The other thing is if you notice, the Lizardman chief who he fought at the start (Zenberu) has a Traveller marking as well, but the Dragon Tusk, unlike the other tribes, see his strength and respected him enough to make him the chief still.
When he was travelling he visited the Dwarf Kingdoms, and they are the ones who gave him his axe that he used initially, and while it is probably powerful, he isn't able to use it well, due to being a monk and preferring hand to hand.
Also, you might have picked up on him saying that he should use the special ability of Frost Pain if he wanted to beat him, that is because he has trained to endure that ability, so he can resist and counter it to surprise the bearer to win in his next battle against it.
Also in the charge in the final fight, Rororo who they were riding, in the light novel, you actually hear his thoughts towards his master (Zaryusu) which was nice, as he saved him as a child, as he was abandoned by his parents for only having 4 heads instead of 5 if I remember right.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head... has been over two years since I read it I am afraid 😂

The Lizardmen live on the southern end of a lake. The northern end is dominated by Toadmen who don't welcome them. The next closest large lake is south of Slane Theocracy, and keep in mind, demihumans are killed on sight by them.
Too many mouths to feed and not enough food always leads to fighting. If something doesn't change within Lizardmen society, they will inevitably go to war again.
The Lizardmen's struggles with famine and civil war show what people resort to when there is no ideal option. The LN implies that the previous Red Eye chief let himself be killed so he could become the villain everyone blames for having made the rest resort to cannibalism and ease their guilt over it.
Cold element does deal extra damage to Lizardment. Zenberu would have lost more fingers if he kept taking chip damage from hitting Frost Pain barehanded.
Frost Pain is one of the Lizardmen treasures, and Zenberu's tribe has another. It's a pot that creates an infinite supply of wine. However the drink is only so-so quality.
You are doing the very same mistake the Guardians do: you are seeing too much in Momonga's actions. He ain't got The Plan, he's just improvising and trying to hide his mistakes saying 'it was planned!'. :D

At 35:21 why he's doing it? He's evil, bruh. Don't consider this as your run of the mill isekai anime with goody two shoes protagonist. So basically, momonga is neutral, he will do evil or good things and justify it with benefits for nazarick all on a whim. Sometimes he will say some things albedo and demiurge will misunderstand, they will massacre people and he will just go with the flow.

He's been deconstructing the bullshit tropes associated with villains, annoying long ass speech against battered protagonists, said protagonist power ups to defeat the villain, power of love, power of friendship, dystopia-seeking villains. With momonga, we can empathize to an extent. His anxiety, his lack of confidence among his excelling peers, he can be genuinely kind to those who doesn't wrong him and nazarick. This isn't shown but nemu, enri's sister got a tour of nazarick from momonga.
@@DirectorNasty have you guys seen fate grand order? Great story, great animation, great action scenes. But one thing I hate about it is the explicit use of plot armor. The heroes get by only with sheer luck or the enemies outright has plot driven REASON!!! NOT!!! TO KILL them. One thing Momonga does right. Always planning, another plan to fall onto if it fails, but usually plan a doesn't really fail. There's no plot armor for anyone not on nazarick. They make you sympathize with a character for 3 episodes boom they die.

After watching Overlord if I see any other isekai it just feels lacking in everything for example compare sao to Overlord like sao is so lacking and so bad , sao's writer doesn't even have a basic knowledge about Video games but the author of Overlord played dnd so that's why he has a good knowledge about Video games ,also that is why Overlord is heavily inspired by dnd , sorry if my comment was rude but that is the truth

Rubedo? Only 3? The best player in the game. Touch Me. During training fight couldn't even scratch her. She is basicly all out Raid Boss lvl of streanght. The stiupid lamp before throne room have fire power enough to slother full party (6 players) of lvl 100 players. It was stated somewhere that if Rubedo rebelled, the only possible way to take her down would be to littetaly throw everything at her and hope for the best...uncless WCI granting immunity for WCI would work here, cuz she is technicly "living" World Class Item...then Ainz can solo her wihout any problem. It would just take really long.
