Clarification to trauma table roll: I should have come back with my full HP though I still do like the thematic roll I did to see how far I recovered and would probably use that again.

Grey Ooze there to ruin your adventuring day.
Hello, I really enjoy your videos, and find them very helpful and thought-provoking. Am designing a solo horse-racing game, which you might think has nothing to do with RPG’s, but it does in a way because it follows the careers of horses over the course of a campaign and many races, and decisions on how to train them, who to have ride them, etc. The most difficult part of designing a solo game are creating the “surprises” and methods of “hiding” results and events from the solo player, as well as creating realistic, intelligent “AI” or “bots” (NPC’s and/or adversaries) that are actually challenges to the solo player. It’s like playing a game of Mastermind with oneself- how do you give yourself clues about how close you are to a victory or a final answer, without actually knowing that answer yourself (which would spoil the fun)? The eternal question that has plagued solo gamers for eons. Anyway, please keep up the great work!
Glad you enjoy the channel and yes what you identify as an issue for solo is right on target. It’s why I do things like Delta Green or CoC which rely on mysteries.
Background roll for the fighter was spot on, almost eerily so. Where can I buy this?
Nifty looking game! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of how the game plays. Love your playthroughs the best! Take care!
@usapatriot4163 Thanks and glad you enjoyed!
Love these all in one small games.
It really shows what a few smaller rolling tables can do. The fact many are D4/6/12 tables is actually very refreshing. It is the polar opposite of the likes of Hack master D1000 tables but it is also easier to use as a short story generator. Portable. Play and finish in an hour. Great stuff.
Yes you make great points. In fact I just had HackMaster out for something else I’m doing and it was a bit overwhelming. Though of course with that you pick and choose and never use it all... Rogueland packs a lot in
This is a fantastic little game, glad to see it here!
I agree! I really enjoy playing it!
@@GeekGamers01 Funny that the creator told me that it wasn't intentionally designed as a "solo" game yet so many people were playing it that way. I feel it's perfect for solo-play.
@@PeterSaumur It does work quite well, yes.
Using this right now!! Awesome game and rules :)
Just got a printed copy! So happy to get this!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
@@GeekGamers01 I read through it and love it! So many ideas! I think it's magic system can easily be important to Ironsworn. I like more magic in a setting, but I'll start with Ironsworn the way it is 1st to get a feel for it.
Where's that map from?
