You said in number nine that you might not imagine an Orc walking up to a dragon for a library card but now I can't help but imagine Billy the Orc Hunter from your older content just coming in and asking in a very timid, polite way if he could have a library card, paying the, what, twenty copper fee for it, and everything.
Having worked in a public library for slightly longer than WoW has been around, I couldn't click on this video fast enough. I wasn't disappointed. All the places I immediately thought of were on the list. Now I'm wondering if they use Dewey Decimal in Azeroth, or some other organizational system... Hmm. Anyway, this was my favorite Pointless Top 10 you've done in a long time.
For me it has become almost like a tradition to wake up for work on Monday and watch these pointless top 10s. They just make my week that much better. Never stop making them!
Doesn't the stormwind library also contain a page from "draconic for dummies" you needed to pick up during the scarab Lord quest in classic? Very interesting challenge for horde players.
i love how like half the libraries flex over the other libraries. it's one big book measuring contest, and everyone you ask is winning, just trust them
GG - the real MVP right here. I did not know I needed this video in my life until it was created. This made my day - both as a wow nerd and as an ex librarian of 11 years. Keep at the excellent work Crendor
this was so cool to watch!!! i've recently been really into finding all the in game WoW lore books that you can read in the game so I've been exploring a lot of libraries and stuff in game and running around to random locations to find one off books and stuff.. really awesome stuff and also i believe this is my first time watching your channel :D subscribed
I am amazed that your number 1 didn't even make mention that there's some portal shenanigans happening with the building, because the building itself is relatively small from the outside, yet you look up from the inside and it's apparently the tallest building in Dalaran. And that's a really cool effect.
Fun facts: "librum" is just Latin for "book", but originally was a word describing the peeled inner bark of trees. Bonus fact: The "spinny planetary thing" is called on "Orrey", although this one seems to be depicting a planetary system that doesn't follow physics as we know it.
The Stormwind library also has books detailing the background of certain major historical characters like Aegwynn, Medivh's mother and a Guardian of Tirisfal. I remember spending quite a lot of time reading the readable books scattered all over Azeroth. Can you still read them in retail WoW?
Top 3 spot I agree with completely. they're all my favorites, but Karazhan is probably my first favorite. (ofc i love libraries in general when they're done well) so yeah
Had to laugh out loud when you said had to do the chess event for the Kara part, I forgot where it was as not played wow properly in years, THAT alone deserves 10 thumbs up! another great and totally pointless video, keep it up!
I didn't see anyone point this out but number 10, Harrison Jones teaching archeology is a a nod to Harrison ford who plays Indiana Jones who is an archeologist in the movies.
9. I just fopund an Orc that Loves to read and was scared to be open with his hobby. 4. Yeah that Place is beautiful. :D And you can visit it outside of the dungeon. :D 2. Yeah the Secret Door booksehlf was such a cool Idea! MORE! I NEED MORE! - The Chess Event isn't that hard if you know how youshould do it. I forgot it but I remeber Solo is possible. But I also hope that one day it is no longer needed but that there will be a real chess game just for fun. :D 1. That was such a cool Job Quest. :D
That’s funny. I noticed two walking npcs in stormwind today (in classic) in the park. Human females, same last name. And I was wondering if crendor had a video on npcs like that. I watch like 3 of his videos a year so it’s a real coincidence I happened to have that thought earlier today and also see this comment here.
Always liked going to my town library as a kid they had computers we're you could play the magic school bug game and getting harry potter on tape for long road trips good memories
chess event solo is easy though, with the right tactics! just move 3 pawns. The 2 pawns in front of the rooks and one pawn forward from king. move rooks to the middle to aoe everything down and move king from fire that spawns at 2min. dont move too far from your side of the board or the bishops wont heal you, let the enemies come to you.
Soloing the Chess match...I hate that...finally got Gorehowl to drop off of the final boss just so that I can carry it in my bags and have my Felguard equip it. Never again. Oh, and those spinning planet models are Orreries (Orrery singular)...I mean, if you're in the library, look it up :)
The Karazhan library... i found it weird it was not mentioned the new Karazhan dungeon's library looks suspiciously similar to the one in the movie. not being 100% accurate ofcourse but clearely to be an in game rendition of such.
Wait, you didn't go to Ungoro to dig up some Pteradon skeletons? I've gotten multiple ones hanging around here. Threw one out the other day in the trash because theyre cheap trash that takes up too much space
Orcs can, and will visit Libraries, remember Garosh had a large amount of mages during Cata, and Mists. They were trained by the Forsaken mages. Orcs are technically Titanforged, they take in Arcane pretty well.

Can you make this happen @wowcrendor?
Didn't Billy get retconned into a human kid at some point?
where do you live that you have to pay for a library card lol. usually just need mail to prove you live there
@@joeh858 haven't gotten one in twenty years, but in North Carolina, USA, I think it was like a $10 donation to the library for a library card.

Hey same!! Since 2001 😊
How many customers u get? I still go to libraries!
Dewclaw Decimal System?
Dalaran, Dire Maul, Scarlet Library, and Karazhan Library are my favorites.
Scarlet and Karazhan G O A T E D
For me it has become almost like a tradition to wake up for work on Monday and watch these pointless top 10s. They just make my week that much better. Never stop making them!

11:29 Back in the olden days, there was a glyph that allowed Eye of Kil'rogg to freely fly, and I flew up there. It's a really really tall shaft!
i love how like half the libraries flex over the other libraries. it's one big book measuring contest, and everyone you ask is winning, just trust them
The architecture top 10’s are always my faves! Holding my breath for top 10 Stained glass windows
GG - the real MVP right here. I did not know I needed this video in my life until it was created. This made my day - both as a wow nerd and as an ex librarian of 11 years. Keep at the excellent work Crendor
06:27 Sepulcher is pronounced *sep* • _uhl_ • ker
Thank you! That’s become a pet peeve for me, and I see, others.
Sep-ul-cher is the OG pronunciation
Hall of the Guardian the Mage order Hall has a cool library in it too!
this was so cool to watch!!! i've recently been really into finding all the in game WoW lore books that you can read in the game so I've been exploring a lot of libraries and stuff in game and running around to random locations to find one off books and stuff.. really awesome stuff and also i believe this is my first time watching your channel :D subscribed
Wonderful!
If my favorite library isn't on this list!.....
I will not care. Because it is pointless.
Nothing like watching Crendor talk about random things to wind down after the day is done! Been watching since 2012 by the way!
The royal library was a heavy used area for roleplay on my server, and an event here was what made me go back to roleplaying back in the days

1:05 a woman reading to kids 🥰❤️ *explodes*
I so agree with number 1! I like to imagine that all the decorative towers of Dalaran are actually book silos
What an amazing thumbnail!
I agree with trying to solo the Chess event. I wish they would make a solo or not full group version.
I love the Dalaran library so much. During my college years, I would afk in the Hall of the Gaurdian to listen to the music while I did my homework.
Libraries can't be pointless... Knowledge is never pointless Crendor...
How droll....
This video is giving you pointless knowledge
Ok, Khadgar

Cool video! And I believe it's pronounced Seh-pull-kur (the 'ch' like a k). Now I want to visit all of these libraries again!
You missed Scholomance? Not even an honorable mention? Half the in-game books are found there, it is my go-to place for studying.
Top 3 spot I agree with completely. they're all my favorites, but Karazhan is probably my first favorite. (ofc i love libraries in general when they're done well) so yeah
My favorite library is the one in the Necropolis in the Death Knight starting zone. It's full of cool lore books you can read.
Had to laugh out loud when you said had to do the chess event for the Kara part, I forgot where it was as not played wow properly in years, THAT alone deserves 10 thumbs up! another great and totally pointless video, keep it up!
I have never looked up to see #1. wow
You're right about the chess event and you should say it.
I didn't see anyone point this out but number 10, Harrison Jones teaching archeology is a a nod to Harrison ford who plays Indiana Jones who is an archeologist in the movies.
Fastest I've clicked on a video, one minute after posting
Saturday nights with Crendor are Best!

WEEK 12 of requesting TOP TEN POINTLESS WALKING NPCs
Please notice this Crendor....😔
That’s funny. I noticed two walking npcs in stormwind today (in classic) in the park. Human females, same last name. And I was wondering if crendor had a video on npcs like that. I watch like 3 of his videos a year so it’s a real coincidence I happened to have that thought earlier today and also see this comment here.
Ah yes, the Sears library.
Full of catalogues maybe?😂😂
Waiting for that new thumbnail
Always liked going to my town library as a kid they had computers we're you could play the magic school bug game and getting harry potter on tape for long road trips good memories
Hey Crendor maybe Top 10 Glitches in World of Warcraft ? Unless you've already done it and I missed it of course.
Maybe the spinning shelves are the book return so librarians can reshelf them.
I forgot about Dalaran's library... It really is number 1
What creature is your avatar?
as a fan of books this was a great list 10/10 top 10
chess event solo is easy though, with the right tactics! just move 3 pawns. a glass of wine and a book sounds amazing. depending on the length of the book. a bottle maybe.

Top 10 wallpapers when (especially goblin buildings)
top 10 christmas hats on bosses! (denathrius and razageth are my faves)
My brother in Christ… 6:29 … Seh-puhl-kr… I like the video.
As a librarian, this makes me happy 😄
Most cozy video you've ever done.
such a great video
Chess solo isn't so bad when you figure out the 2-4 pieces you need to focus on controlling to beat it.
Chess isnt hard if you follow a very specific pattern, it works like 90% of the time
Karazhan's is definitely the most memorable one
Doan: Am I a joke to you?
as a librarian this makes me very happy.
My favorite library is the one I can bike too from my house
You forgot that in the Seer's Library, the bookshelves are the PROFESSION TRAINERS! Such a cool detail that Blizz added.
YES, I LOVE POINTLESS THINGS
Wait, you didn't go to Ungoro to dig up some Pteradon skeletons? I've gotten multiple ones hanging around here. Threw one out the other day in the trash because theyre cheap trash that takes up too much space
I cant believe the guy who died on the hill of pronouncing "ichor" correctly, doesn't pronounce "sepulcher" correctly......
Is there a library in Scholomance?
For 7: Well the Silvermoon Libraries could have been decimated by the scourge and haven’t recovered…
Billy would totally get a library card.
Mark my words, someday Shadowlands will be looked upon with favor and nostalgia
BOOKS
!
Anyone that claims the pen is mightier than the sword hasn't seen the bloodbath that players have left in this games libraries...
Dalaran, Silvermoon?
Harrison Ford. Indiana Jones. Archaeology.
Crendor you can't just ask people to leave a comment mid stream
LET’S GOO
what the flip
Orcs can, and will visit Libraries, remember Garosh had a large amount of mages during Cata, and Mists. They were trained by the Forsaken mages. Orcs are technically Titanforged, they take in Arcane pretty well.
Si-Pull-Cher!
will my comment be read?
Well, I did read it.
I can’t see it. Just kidding.
Probably not 😂
Nope. It will be green
Surely it will
No Scholomance :(
Mage order hall…
Random library in dungeons
SepulKER
Mildly disappointed that the seat of knowledge in pandaria wasn't on the list..... buuuuut.... Yknow pointless
chess event solo is easy
If I leave a comment here, can I get a left?
