Oh and also - after all my chat on it throughout 😂 apologies for messing up the Strava data on screen in the outro, unsure what’s gone wrong, but it’s over in my Strava if you want to go and see it for yourself!
Thank you for being a great example of balancing strength and endurance! So many people say it is impossible
Thanks man, appreciate it! Those people are just scared to try 😉
Just wow, you’ve outdone yourself yet again and probably every other hybrid athelete on TH-cam. This 6-6-6 challenge sure sounds like absolute hell, good shit bro
Thank you my man appreciate it!
Absolutely epic, yet again smashing it and so motivating! Recently come across your stuff and it’s proper got me hooked and changing things I’m doing all for the better so big thank you!
Awesome to hear man thank you!
When I saw this on Strava I was like wtf... This is such an achievement, gj man!
Thanks man!
Blown away that we are the same height, weight, and build.
I can’t even wrap my head around moving those kinda weights and following with a 60km. Absolutely mad and legendary at the same time.
Hats off to you and congratulations!
Thanks Daniel appreciate it!
Hey everyone! Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video 🤌🏼
Don’t forget to like the video, comment down below, and subscribe if you haven’t already!
Loved this recommendation! As someone who has both competed in powerlifting and run a marathon, I can’t begin to fathom the pain of completing both in one day. Props to you!
The insight into your thoughts on that last 10km whilst you were struggling to mentally keep going was really interesting and definitely reminiscent of how I feel at the end of anything that’s a long distance (for me).
Most balanced Game Charactar Ever bruv
The best sign of strength and endurance I have ever seen! Crazy weight moved and that run! ooft! I have run from Linlithgow before and it's not easy! Very well done.
Thanks Stewart! I’ve done Glasgow > Edinburgh via that canal 3 times before so to say I have a negative relationship with it is an understatement haha! Thanks again for watching, appreciate it!
Really cool to watch. I'm also someone who likes to practice two sports at once. I'm both a powerlifter and a cyclist. This year i've lifted 625kg total and i'm planning to do a 200km (7-8h) bike ride. I've done 180km before, but I do alternate between gym and cycling days though, so i'm not lifting my max and cycling my max distance on the same day. What a grueling thing to do, respect!
You never fail to amaze, you are an absolute machine. Love watching your journey. Keep doing what your doing, I look forward to every video! 🙌🏻
Thanks Donna - appreciate it!
Amazing mate! I don't know how you keep coming up with these crazy challenges and smashing what many people would deem impossible. You are truly a great, if not the greatest, inspiration to all of us who are looking to avoid being one sided athletes. Please keep doing what you're doing! We will keep on watching!
Thanks Simon really appreciate it!
Now this demands respect, holy shit. Never heard of you, but you set the bar delightfully high, love it
You're actually insane, and I love it!
Haha thank you! (I think…)
You're starting to become a role model for me as to what an athlete should be like.
Awesome to hear man thank you 👊🏼
@@ferguscrawley95 Minus the alcohol tbh haha.
The number 1 fitness youtuber! Awesome acheivement!
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Smashed it! Congrats getting this done. You are a great inspiration for my own personal goals. Love it
Thanks Iain - appreciate it!
Mate this is incredible. Inspiring me to set my own insane goal!
wow! that's freaking incredible! well done!
Thanks Justin, appreciate it!
@@ferguscrawley95 do you (or anyone you know of) do hybrid training with olympic lifting instead of powerlifting by chance?
@@JustinKhoe yes sir! My own coach, and business partner for www.omnia-performance.com specialises in oly lifting coaching more than I do! @jonathanpain on Instagram if you want to message him there, or best bet would be to book a consultation with him through the website to talk things through 👊🏼
Just came across your channel, this is a ridiculous challenge! I'm only just getting started on ultra-distance running and if I had to do a total today I probably wouldn't even break 400.
Really inspiring, I often get discouraged from lifting because everyone says that it will negatively affect my running, or to quit running because it will hurt my lifting. Amazing to see I don't have to give up anything!
How you’re not the number one fitness TH-camr is beyond me.
Tell your friends 🤷♂️ appreciate it man thank you!
Brilliant effort! Especially loved the inner voices you had on voiceover; "this head torch is shit!" 😂😂😂 Been there so many times and so relatable! 😂
Very impressive buddy! Fair play to you.
Fuck the haters - as long as you know what you did that’s the main thing! Someone doing this don’t need to lie or fake so respect to you man. 👊🏿
Awesome, very cool to see. Id love to understand how you figure out your nutrition during and just after a long run
All nutrition info here my man: th-cam.com/video/DOmgeDZmkgY/w-d-xo.html
Congratulations Fergus, what a way to cap an awesome year. That was u real…fair play, lifting and running were solid mate. Hope you have a great Christmas and looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2022.
Thanks Peter - appreciate it!
Unreal achievement, fascinating watching how you’re pushing the limits of the human body
Cracking efffort! Really liked the voice over towards the end
Thanks Mason!
Mad bro. I lift and surf, so I know the pain of combining endurance and strength. This is insane. 👌
Absolutely amazing! I am 100% sure you’ll get 1 mil subs in no time❤️❤️❤️
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Most understated celebration I've seen, absolutely outstanding achievement :D
Machine! Very impressive! Inspiring. Yet so modest and down to earth. Stay safe.
Thanks Keith, appreciate it!
Great stuff , seems like a nice chap too 👍👍👍
Loved the inner monologue in the final stages.
Cheers Philip, it was tough 😂
YO!!! sick upload, my man. congrats on the huge accomplishment! super proud of you, mate.
Thanks Andrew - appreciate it!
Subbed in the first 2 minutes. Great content, awesome achievements!
Legend - thanks for watching man!
Loving this content! Inspiring seeing you combining the heavy lifting and endurance.
Fair play brother. You're incredible. Respect from Ireland 🇮🇪
Thank you my man!
Thats crazy! Motivation all day man 🔥🔥
Thank you man!
Excellent effort and enjoying the channel
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Absolute machine! I'll never get to the same level as you but you're certainly inspiring me to try things in a similar vein
This shit that he is doing is like top10 from all the people in the world
Fergus, very cool accomplishment. However, didn’t see the statistics on the screen when mentioned.
Also, would be interesting to include your avg heart rate for those long endurance activities. Nick bare just started highlighting that area in his latest videos. It’s fun to compare.
Yeah there’s been a technical error there 🙃
Infinite discussion on HR in previous videos my man!
Wait and bleed is a banger
Can confirm 🤌🏼
This is an incredible feat of physical performance, really impressive
Congratulations Fergus! Earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep proving those haters wrong.
What's your next challenge?
Get get get it hommie , definitely one of my favorite buttermilk biscuits on you tube
I’ll take it 😂
Mental as always! So glad this channel is growing for you Fergus.
Thanks Emma!
Monster workout mate. Congrats. Thank you for sharing👍🏾
Thanks for watching man!
Another incredible feat Fergus! Great watch as always
Thanks mate! Appreciate it!
Absolutely amazing! Thanks for the video.
beautiful landscape for running
Some seriously bitter fu*kers who make you do all the proof stuff. Why people hate on you like that i wont ever know. You have been a big inspiration to me this year and ive taken some lesson's from your videos and applied them to my own training. For the first time ever ive managed to do cardio and weight lifting at the same time and in a way that complements each other.
Awesome to hear my man thank you! Internet gonna internet eh
Love ur vids bro
we need your playlist bro its fire !
Haha I’ll try and pull something together!
Awesome mate, best hybrid on YT.
Thanks man - appreciate that!
Awesome that, well done 🫡
Cheers Alan!
Great vids, I love the vids around training or competing.
Sadly can't do them every week or I would be a broken man haha 😂 thanks for watching!
That’s hardcore!! 🤣 Good stuff lad, not many people could do that!
Thanks man! Appreciate it!
Great stuff, a lot later than planned for viewing but great content and congratulations 💪🏼
Cheers mate, appreciate it as always 👊🏼
Should've got some Six60 playing in this one mate! Solid work 🙌
Hahaha would’ve been spot on!
keep up man !!
Superb Fergus - excellent VO for the last 10k 😆
A lot of additional bad language was removed for fear of incrimination 🙃
Quality this… well done!
Come to North Carolina and we can do a powerlifting meet and a 100 miler right after if you're interested. Nice job btw
I think it’s amazing to do both . I know they say you get slower results from do two different things at once . But it can be done with hard work .
Fergus, thank you for your knowledge and inspiration! I am not nearly at your level but I am challenging myself to do 800lb Powerlifting total and sub 8 hr 80km run in the same day. Goal is to complete before the year is out. I am currently about 640lbs total and about 3:05 marathon shape at 150lbs body weight. Any tips or suggestions are welcome and good luck at your next event!
Congrats, that's absolutely amazing. I wish I could lift and run both, if only my knee and ankle would allow that
Absolute legend. Always smashing it
Thanks dude! Appreciate it!
Awesome effort Fergus, very inspiring! What does your recovery look like after a challenge like this?
Minimal training for a week, with zero intensity at all, lots of food, sleep is priority - simple as that really.
Your challanges are so long distance that I’m not even able to watch it in one sitting…😅 honestly i must go to work. As aleays top notch performance both as athlete and TH-camr. Liked the vid already. Cheers
Haha thanks man!
You put Nick Symonds to shame. Respect.
This is exactly the type of feats I’m aspiring to do. Just absolute savagery.
Thanks Ryan - best of luck with your training 👊🏼
That is insane! Definately inspires me to push the gym and running more. Also you're one of the only other Fergus' I've seen online big up the representation. What does your week training look like in terms of splitting the gym and running?
Unreal, mad effort
Thank you my man!
Awesome effort, well done, smashed it.
Thanks mate - appreciate it!
congratulations on your efforts, always smashing goals
Thanks Lesley, appreciate it!
Great work man!
Thank you my man!
Nice! I'm doing the same Challenge in may! However I'm doing a sub 3 hour marathon instead of 60km
Shared.
Legend 👊🏼
That music choice for pumping you up for a big squat lift - It's a great shame I can only like this video once!
The 👑 - haha go through all your old emails and double up on accounts! 😂
Amazing effort well done Fergus 👍👍👍
Cheers Des 👊🏼
You should be known as Superhero Fergus!
*phones Tony Stark*
Great video Fergus
Cheers Gordon!
Hey Fergus! Being a hybrid athlete like you led me to follow your videos and content. They are all great and am looking forward to your next projects you are working on! Your same day 500lbs Squat and Sub 5 Minute Mile feat along with Nick Bare and Hunter McIntyre's Sub 3 Hour Marathons inspired a thought/challenge to try something similar. Bench press 315 and run a sub 3:15 marathon the same day. Curious what your thoughts are. Thanks!
we all know crossfitters are the true ultimate athlete 🤣🤣
Sick lifts !
Well done. An incredible effort.
Thanks Neil 🙌🏼
Amazing as usual !
Thank you! 👊🏼
Unbelievable shift!!
👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Fantastic effort mate ✅🏁
Thank you! Appreciate it!
This is awesome 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You kinda look like Nate from "The King of random" ngl
Really cool!! Very motivational
Thank you! 👊🏼
Absolutely nutty mate! Not to detract from your work ethic and please take it as a compliment, do you use any special sports supplements? Insane effort either way
Thank you mate - I do not no, just hanging on to some of my strength from my powerlifting days + a lot of calculated graft!
@@ferguscrawley95 Incredible mate! Can't wait until I can afford some Omnia coaching, looks great
Just an fyi, pretty sure you forgot to add the data from the run at 17:56 but still a sick video as always. Production quality is insane and I can't even begin to comprehend how hard that challenge must've been so fair play!
Hahaha oh no it hasn’t appeared has it 🙃🙃🙃 - terrible mistake, over on my Strava if you want to see it!
Fucking unreal! Beast
True warrior
I ran from Stirling to Edinburgh along the canal from Falkirk. the cobbles are just evil. I don't know how you deal with that!!
Haha they are always challenging, and frustrating AF indeed!
I love the headtalk scene, this is literally my brain except I say Sam...because it would be weird if I said Fergus, that's not my name.
That would indeed, be strange 😂
