I had this procedure done last year. Did all 3 treatments to help & improve my jowls. Fast forward a year later. My cheeks look really droopy. U just kinda hope & pray that u get the results u want. Unless u have millions & can travel to the best doctors .
Hi Mari, its such a shame you didn't come to us and thank for highlighting the need to go to experienced qualified practitioners. Check out our google reviews for reassurance of our service levels and treatment outcomes. With M8 the settings on the cheek area should only be superficial to stimulate collagen and elastin. The deeper settings would only be used under the cheekbone to contour the lower face and reduce fat where it is desired x
sad to say, but the customer has to learn about these machines to make sure whoever they are going to is using it right.. i would ask to even see the settings and depth they are using to make sure they aren't going too deep
I don’t think it had anything to do with who the technician is. I’ve heard this now numerous time that lasers can melt your fat in the face because they are heating the skin. I can see this only be good for the fat under the chin because in that case melting the fat is a good thing
… it’s pretty obvious in the cover photos before and after that in the before the chin is drawn back in and the chin is pushed forward in the after … whatever changes or benefits that may have actually occurred are negated by the intentional deception …
Morpheus 8 does tighten and lift subtly but def not a facelift result like this before and after you’re exactly right. Not sure why ppl feel the need to falsify results, except for money. I’ve done 3 and barely noticeable.
The absolute best UK based review of Morpheus8 ever, thanks everso for putting this together. Has really been helpful and the before and after photos were brilliant.
There is evidence showing that RF melts fat, it doesn't happen immediately, and can sometimes take years. People should be aware therefore that results can vary from person to person. Someone with a fuller face may notice benefit, those who are likely to have experienced facial fat loss, or potential facial fat loss due to genetics, lifestyle, including diet and physical exercise regime, etc., should proceed with caution.
We always manage our clients expectations here. We like to make sure they’re happy and satisfied with the treatment and the results they will achieve ☺️
I think there is definitely an improvement. Also, I believe the experience of the clinician is important because they need to know how to set the proper depth of the needles and strength of charge. Problems such as too much fat loss may be due to the improper setting of the machine, and lack of experience as to what could happen with the wrong setting.
Hi there, Morpheus 8 uses two technologies (Radio Frequency (heat) and Microneedling) whereas plasma pen only uses one technology which only causes heat trauma. The depth of Morpheus 8 is deeper than plasma pen therefore we are able to see fantastic results, with it also being safe for all skin types too! If you would like any more information you can book in for a consultation with one of our practitioners via our website www.fijiskinclinic.co.uk x
I'm all for tightening a little around my chin and cheek area to create a little lift, however, what if you don't want to lose any fat? Is the depth of the heat going to melt fat? And should I then add filler or use a different treatment altogether? Also, what if the skin under my eyes needs thickening where it's starting to hollow? What do you think about adding filler there? You've explained everything so clearly- Cheers!
Hi there, so to target fat we would go deeper into the skin. For skin tightening, a much deeper depth wouldn’t be necessary. I hope this answers your question :)
Also in regards to filler, if you’re needing that more “filled out” look in areas then absolutely go for it. Morpheus 8 is designed to lift and tighten, we can work on the full face including around the eyes too :)

I had Syfirm X done recently only at 0.3mm-0.8mm setting and it caused significant fat loss after one session, also left me with large patches of scar and burns, I'm very regretful I got it done, some results dont show up until a few weeks later and it's horrifying. Definitely be careful!
@@dannyphantom4514 Not right away, my face was swelling right after the procedure, it took a few days for me to notice the indentation in my cheeks, and then the scars, it was also the overall aging of the skin, my upper eye lid became droopy and my lips were thinned out, which is so horrifying. I would stay away from Sylfirm X at all cost.

Yes this treatment is for everyone How often should you get Morpheus? someone in there 20-30 wouldn’t see the same results in 40,50,60 Any recommendations for ppl over 40?
Hi, thanks for taking time out and enquiring. Before we start the full treatment we test out different settings for each client before every treatment for comfort. We also use thick layers of numbing cream which is left for at least 30 mins. As we have been doing this treatment for a while now and are able to work faster. This treatment is suitable for all skin of colour and clients can consider it from the age of 30 depending on concerns. After your course of 3 which are approx 4 weeks apart with recommend a top up treatment every 12/18 or 24 months depending on age and concern. The older the client, the slower results take due to less collagen & elastin in the skin. Prevention is better than cure so we would recommend these treatments are started as soon as early ageing becomes noticeable. If you would like a skin consultation in clinic using our Observ 520x Skin analysis booth please contact us or call 0121 350 8482 to arrange a telephone consultation. All plans are bespoke as all clients have different concerns. For example some clients are only concerned with pigmentation which would mean a completely different plan to someone who is concerned with their double chin. This is why we always recommend a consultation on the phone or in clinic so we can fully understand you biggest concern. Hope you found this helpful and thank you for reaching out 😊 x
Yes I did it too and ITS SO PAINFUL numbing cream isn’t enough. Some better places will inject lidocaine and that completely numbs you so I don’t get why some places refuse to do it! I use lidocaine on lip injections and Morpheus now with no pain.
@@Sarah-xd4zi Hi Sarah, thanks for your comment. We are really sorry to hear about the experience that you had, we found that when numbing cream is applied and left for the correct amount of time. Hi there! It can be difficult to advise a treatment without seeing a client for a face to face consultation. Morpheus8 tends to be recommended for clients who are 30yrs and above to help with skin laxity. Forma is great at general skin tightening so may be better suited. However we do offer alternative treatments that potentially could achieve even better results. Our best advise is to book in for a skin consultation with ourselves so we are able to advise correctly.
