- I keep getting questions in forums about my shelving and lighting system for my LEGOs and other collectibles. Here's a quick informational vid, hope it helps!

Someone is selling these shelves for $45 black and wood in my area as wholesale or something. This is PERFECT for what I needed to display my lego collection, thank you for selling me
Thanks for the video!! I was hesitant buying these but now I will definitely buy the shelves. And for some reason ikea has the black for $150 less than the white.
Only black in France :/
Love the straightforward no BS video. Wish more people would do this format. I was looking at the reviews for the shelves, and they're a bit all over the place. Do you agree with some of the negative reviews, or do they feel the negative reviews are from User Error?
Thank you! I do agree with the criticisms. The unit is a little flimsy if deployed solo, so I recommend only using BROR if you tie at least two together. With my three locked together it’s incredibly strong and there’s no wiggle no matter how much I try and shake the unit.
The shelves are kind of a pain to install but that’s a one-time process.
I’d say if you plan on moving shelves around frequently then this isn’t a good shelving system for you.
For my purposes it’s worked absolutely perfectly.
Get a rubber mallet as you need to make sure the shelf supports are 100% slotted all the way down. If that doesn’t happen the rest of the build will not fit well.
are the shelves easily to remove and readjust once it is completely put together?
No
Do you remember how many feet of strip lights you used?
No, but I went through three rolls, and had some scrap left over. I kept having to buy more rolls to get the connectors.
Hey man, what's the increment for shelf heights?
5 5/8" floor to center brace, 7 3/4" floor to ceiling. So if you have a model that spans an entire shelf it has to make the minimum clearance of the center brace at 5 & 5/8". If you're putting something just one one side or the other (off center), it can be as tall as 7 & 3/4", understanding that you'll have to tilt it to pass under the front lip.
How much was it for this set up?
Somewhere around $300 for the shelves.
