On the first pond, I agree with Brian, its really cool the way the waterfall exits the pond toward the back and you only see it when you go back to the bench.
Capt. Rick's pond is going to look even more amazing once those trees and the aquatic plants have grown in more. You should definitely pay him a visit on the vlog again in a few years.

The biological filter is the start of the waterfall. We typically place the skimmer on the opposite side of the waterfall to maximize circulation in the pond. You can find out more about it here: www.aquascapeinc.com/water-gardening/pond-filtration
I have a question how much does it cost running all the Aquascape equipment pumps ect because my friend said the running costs would be a lot power wise.

My favorite thing is the trees and how they make it feel like an oasis. I'm a tree person, I love the beautiful trees.

Depends on what size pump you have - but our pumps are energy efficient to keep cost and energy consumption to a minimum.
