Si può dire che i pezzi del Meccano, nelle mani dei giovani, acquisivano una vitalità e un'anima che si concretizzavano nel meccanismo finale. Il Meccano ha aiutato i giovani a sviluppare la fantasia e sicuramente a sognare un mondo più bello e forse anche più giusto.
