Such a beautiful park area. We love visiting Namsan Tower when going to Seoul. The cherry blossom look so pretty here in Japan. Everyday we do our daily walk, we get a chance to walk through the park of cherry blossoms.

it really does depend, March/April, it depends on the weather, but if you google it, there are forecasts for when they are expected in each place. It is taken pretty seriously
We were there mid March...freezing and just missed the blossoming...there was still a bit of snow on the ground.

I have always wanted to see the Cherry blossoms in Japan but never considered South Korea. This possibly could be better as you don't get the crowds that do in Japan.
Me too! I saw autumn in Japan, which was incredible!! But South Korea is definitely a place to consider for cherry blossom too. Maybe not quite on the scale of Japan, but all across the country you can see it, starting in Jeju Island first and working its way up. Gyeongju and Jeonju are also popular for it. but there are many locations in Seoul for it. A couple of days after this, it peaked! and wow!! (but I kept that for myself)
Gyeonju is best place to see cherry blossom
If you didn't mention it was in Korea, I could swear you were in Japan instead. Of course the Japanese would be camped and having a picnic under those trees.

@brucewayne2773 FYI, Korean and Japanese have the same way to enjoy the spring, they usually doing picnic under the trees, especially Cherry Blossom Trees. And, Cherry Blossom is not only endemic plant in Japan, but in Korea as well because Korea has their own endemic Cherry Blossom species that only able to find in Jeju Island, that’s why there’re so many Cherry Blossom in Korea because Cherry Blossom is one of their national flowers. So Cherry Blossom is not only own by Japan, but Korea as well. Because they have different type of species.
