FYI, that PAL version of RE: Director's Cut isn't the one that you're thinking of, with the awful soundtrack. That was the RE: Director's Cut Dual Shock Edition, which released in NTSC territories after the version you see here, and didn't come out in PAL regions. It wouldn't make sense to have the Dual Shock version on here, since the mini PS1 console doesn't run DS controllers, just the standard ones.

If you put a Twisted Metal on a PS Classic you put Twisted Metal 2. Infinitely better than the first game. Also I'd like to see a new Jumping Flash for PS VR. Would be fun as hell.
Xenogears, Bushido Blade, Tenchu 1 or 2, Street fighter ex plus ALPHA or SF Alpha 3, Tekken 3, Loaded, MK3, Syphon Filter 2, Ridge Racer 2, Parasite Eve, Die Hard Trilogy, Metal Gear Solid. That would be my ideal list for this
I love how everyone says they should've put Tony Hawk on this but, that is a legal red tape nightmare. You got to get permission to use the all skater's likeness including asking Disney/Marvel to use Spiderman, you have to get permission from all the licensed bands, and pay each and everyone of them.
It depends on how the original contract was written. Modern licensing has a time limit but I’m not sure that skaters would’ve been that savvy in that era.

The owners of the franchise would probably want some kind of royalty for every unit sold and (at least from the 5 minutes I took to google search) that’s the reason some classic sports games were left out of the SNES and NES Classics. It’s also probably why a shit ton of other games like Gran Turismo aren’t on there either.

It's called copyrights companies like Activision Electronic Arts and Konami are so greedy I'm not surprised any of their games are not on there. Activision even said they had no interest in putting old versions of Spyro and crash on there because of the re-releases.

I agree with the rating without any mods and hacks. I hacked mine and it has become infinitely better then before with games like soul edge and blood roar 2. With mods I would give it an 8/10 as it is incredibly more entertaining then the experience without mods
They actually included the best version of the original Resident Evil. It retains the original music and has the DC features. It was the dual shock version that had the ass soundtrack.

Like ive said in the past. Emulation has ruin any real hype i would get for these consoles. I no longer have that "oh i used to love that game, havent played that in forever" i can and have just emulated all of those games over the years.
