Usually university will look into the official numbers given by the immigration department. Hope that makes sense.

Bro australia is really costly l.. i am leaving in gold coast and i spend like 2000$ per month but i coo k by my self and also living with my sister.... i suggest you to have share accommodation wich cost you 500$per month.. than buy a car (cheaper one like 2000$ car) amd rego cost you 700$ than go for 3rd party insurance and try to cook by your self so you have to spend 2500 $ approximately but it also depend on your life style and try to find good job.
