Thanks so much, I'm glad you like them! I think the algo likes the longer videos, I got a lot more traction with my first 2 hour video, so I stuck with that format since.
@Lorepaedia yeah I keep hearing shorts and 20min is the way to go but I disagree...the long form ones ate what I look for! I've been learning forget realms lore for a couple decades and I didn't think there was much I didn't know until now.
@@Lorepaediayes there is an audience for this. It's a lot of work but we appreciate this form. I might now get it all in 1 sitting but I will listen to all of it. I grew up playing campaigns in Faerun so I will get to it.
Absolutely LOVING this channel, great writing, aweome narration, no intro just jumping right into every topic in vivid detail... Glad Lorepedia didn't throw away that crystal to our lame world!
Nothing surpasses @Lorepedia for an entertaining engaging deep dive into the lore. Thank you Lorepedia. Keep up the great work! Post Script: I don’t love the new cartoony art as much as the deeper more complete art.
Thanks, I'll see if I can make the art a bit more realistic. Not really that much good levistus art out there tbh, and I had a real hard time getting him in that darn cube. -_-
Over 4 decades worth of world building should count for something. If you grew up with this you'll understand. Thanks for your upload brother. It's difficult when you come across the changes in lore over the years too. Sometimes you have to go what's there last. When in doubt, go with what makes sense. I've had to plug holes in the lore when using some of this in my campaigns.
This just gave me an idea for something you can do while in the 9 hells. Use shape water to solidfy some of the Styxian water...then use catapult to throw it at a bad guy.
@@jacobfreeman5444 that would be subjective. Any fiends would likely be evil, but as soon as their INT hits 0 they don't have the capacity for evil anymore.
Thank you so much for the timestamps. Would you be able to do any for the old videos? I get that it's a lot of work, but being able to find specific topics is really handy whenever a campaign idea strikes me
I personally believe that the ice of Levistus can be mundanely destroyed but the treacherous nature of evil will simply never allow to occur unless players and plot powers intervene. An example being -players may free him so they can kill Zerial and Yenoguh at the same time.
There is surprisingly little art for how long the setting has been around. Check out the official art for Levistus, it's pretty sparse and weird. Belial is just gross. So, I resolved to try to contribute something. Even if people don't like a lot of the images, if I can add something to the sparse visual landscape I think it's worth trying to get AI to get that stupid devil in that stupid icecube for an hour (not mad at all).
@@Lorepaedia Oh I know, trust me, lol. I'm researching him for a campaign I'm running and there's almost nothing depicting him. But yeah the AI model only knows what it's been taught to recognize, and it was likely never shown pictures of people trapped in a block of ice.
Dude these lore videos are absolutely amazing. I don't care what the algorithm says: longer videos are effin golden my man.

@@cernunnos_lives Thanks, I really appreciate your kind words!
This! I like the occasional short, but its really frustrating when you get a short you like and you just say "what? is that it?! I need MOAR!"

The outro, was quite delightful.
Thanks! ^^

Great channel!!! 😊 Loving the content. So well thought out and amazing storytelling.
Thanks so much!
Set: Ima put a desert here.
Levistus: Uhm, I kind of have a theming thing going on an-
Set: Don't care, deal with it ice cube boy.
Levistus: -_-
You’re doing great work! Ty for these videos.
Thanks for watching! ^^
I loved the song at the end! Definitely gonna steal that for the next time I play a Bard who’s knowledgeable about the Nine Hells! ❤️
Thanks! ^^
Love this channel so much
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the video!
The outro!! You had me cackling like a gnoll! XD
Thanks! ^^

Smart! ^^
Just be careful around that stuff... I forget why.
Who is the bad guy though? The one getting hit by the hell snowball or the one doing the hitting?🤔

Thanks man for another gem. Looking forward to 1.5 hour long videos of every layer of the abyss. Patreon?
Thanks so much! I am considering other ways to support the work outside of the ads, I'll let you know.
That picture of the creatures underwater in the Styx is so cool
Thanks!

Yeah, I've been putting it off but sooner or later I will do it, it's good to know people appreciate them. Thanks! ^^
I love these

Omg I wasn't ready for Stygia Jingle Bells
Nothing can prepare you lol.
The Styx Dragon should breathe a cloud of gass that makes target forget.
Some of these videos just don't get recommended to me, this is one of those videos. 🤨
Great video though 😄
Thanks for watching!
What was said: "immune to the Styx memory erasing properties due to their god's blessing"
What I heard: "... due to their god's bussin'"
He's basically a giant bus.
I wonder how many of our wonders are divine decorating disputes.
Was not expecting to see AI art in this. I don't particularly care, just a first in one of these videos (that I've seen, specifically).
