Jacob also did a solo cover of this on piano from his room a few years ago. He does improvised audience choirs like this at every concert. Yesterday he won another Grammy for Bridge Over Trouble Waters and should have won one for A Rock Somewhere IMHO. Eventually you'll want to check out Moon River.

What a wonderful collaboration with one of my favourite Coldplay songs. Jacob and Chris gave the audience an absolutely amazing memory which highlighted this extraordinary song to the extreme. Jacob Collier from London UK, his mother plays the violin and conducts ❤ His grandfather played the violin in concert settings. Jacob was given the violin in hand when he was 2 years old, he tried for a couple of years, but gave up and went into playing percussions, later piano, guitar, standing bass, keyboard and so much more
Jacob spend 4 years making videos from home. Here he was noticed by Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock. They were amazed by his creative ways, playing jazz piano but sneaking unusual cords in 😅
When Jacob was 6 years, his parrents seperated. His mother made her own little orcestra with Jacob and his sibblings often with home made instruments.
Quincy worked with Jacob for 9 years.
Jacob has received 6 grammys so far, 4 for best album of the year. Each album a different musical empiriens ❤
