President Coolidge Wreck | HUGE Ocean Liner | GoPro

Freediving and Scuba Diving the President Coolidge wreck, on the island of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. The wreck is huge, over 200m in length and full of interesting artefacts.
We first had a freediving session on the wreck, however the conditions weren't so good and the depth of the wreck between 20 and 70m meant that we only got a few good clips.
The next day we went back to scuba dive it, first doing an orientation of the upper deck and cargo hold two, and then a second dive inside to look at 'The Lady' and more cargo areas.
The Coolidge was used in WWII by the Americans as a troop carrier. It hit two mines when trying to come into the Espiritu Santo harbour, and despite efforts to save it, ended up slipping down into the channel where it sits today.
