Loved your detailed review. II bought a pair of these in Taiwan after losing a similarly priced pair and have used them almost every day for about 10 months. Still going strong. Just gave my wife a pair after she lost her pricey ones. She was suspicious at first but now loves them. There is another feature of the HT05 that you didn't go into which is the pass through mode. I've played around with it in the app but haven't found a good use for. It amplifies ambient sound to a startling degree. But as I write this I am thinking the it might be worth turning turning the feature it way down in the app to bring in just a little sound from the outside in order to hear voices without having to remove the earbuds. Already having the pass through mode, QCY is in a good position to improve it through the app to allow user selection of the sounds that are amplified. It won't be long before earbuds and hearing aids will be the same thing and always cheaper and better.
Awesome awesome share!!! Personally I don’t really like the pass through mode but since its a pair of budget ANC, I don’t want to nitpick too much ☺️☺️☺️
Turns out the app now provides a *voice enhancement* option (instead of pure amplification) in *transparency mode* which the buds themselves announce as *pass through* . Don't think this option was there when I downloaded the app several months ago. I'm eager to see how it works. Maybe the future is already here! One more thing: The app now has a *Find my ear buds* feature that makes the buds beep. It's not very loud but let's credit QCY for a baby step in the right direction.
Words of appreciation for the effort. A very big plus for performing the microphone test. An interesting, repetitive text to speak during the conversation quality test will be useful. I suggest implementing a permanent (repeatable conditions) wind test using e.g. a fan, riding a bike (a speed counter will be useful to maintain a constant speed) in a quiet (solitary) and noisier place. Subsequent software updates have reportedly improved the overall sound and call quality. I have seen the positive effects of the update in other reviewers' more recent videos.
Thanks for your encouragement. For certain types of conditions such as Wind… i still prefer to do it outdoors whenever possible. If I have a motorbike, I will definitely include it as part of my mic test. For quieter environment, I try to keep it constant by doing it in my computer room with me alone. I will usually leave the room door and the windows open. With the intention to let in some natural surrounding environment noise This is to emulate an indoor environment which represents most people. As for noisier places… so far I keep it to the following: - walking along a road with heavy traffic - walking along a fairly quiet street - in a coffeeshop - in a casual dining restaurant - on a moving bus/subway

Thanks for the in depth review. Can the level of transparency and noise canceling modes be controlled when the earbuds are used with laptop? Does the app have a desktop version?
Hi Jonny, thanks for the video, one question, does these earbuds have multi-point connection? How does it work to switch for example from an iPhone to a computer?
Does the black version also have the matte finish? I’ve been thinking of getting one and on Amazon, the image looks like that black one is just plastic rather than a matte finish. Please help me out. 😅😅❤❤❤

QCY T13 is a slightly lower end model compared to HT05. HT05 is considered their “Best ANC earbuds” range. For me… i usually don’t play around with the EQ much. I just set it to neutral or default because I want to know the actual sound quality without fiddling with the EQ. Other than that for HT05… gaming mode aka Low latency mode, and the Sleep mode
