I moved to Florida about a year ago and just recently learned thanks to you that I would be able to adopt a fox (a dream of mine) granted I follow all laws and protocols! I have the space just need to build necessary housing and containment. This will take me some time but its already in the works!
This made me so emotional watching these lovely foxes happy in their forever homes now. Especially for dear Milo and Firefly, made my eyes teary. Very heartwarming, I miss them so much. Thank you for these updates on them.

That dog has way too high of a prey drive. Looks like a border collie mix. They need to be very very careful if they ever try to introduce them, and don't follow the logic of "my dog would never" it's a dog. It can and it will.
It makes me happy too see where a lot of these foxes end up going too. It's sort of sad not seeing them regularly. But knowing they have good, safe, proper, homes like you were provided and they will forever keep their fur and life. Makes me sooooo happy and at peace.

The foxes are clearly unbothered, and the holes aren't large enough to catch on feet. If people would freaking listen, they literally discuss it is because of coyotes, who hunt and kill foxes. Those guys are three-legged, which makes them especially prone to possible attacks, because they're weaker and therefore easier kills.

Can I ask why the whole floor was lined in that "cage" material? I understand having the outline covered so they don't escape by digging but they're both missing a leg? It just doesn't seem comfortable or necessary too me at least. I hope my question doesn't come across rude, I'm just wondering is all.
If they don’t have it all around then that’ll give them an opening to tear up the wire or dig out. It might also be to protect them from wild coyotes based on the conversation. They said they’ll order something to put over the wire to make it more comfortable for them.
They said in the video that coyotes live in the area and I think they could dig in and eat the foxes. And also they can reuse the enclosure for other foxes or put a third one in it. But that are just my guesees it could also have a totally different reason.
Putting wire just around the perimeter is OK for daytime, supervised fox yards, but for their permanent living quarters it needs to be more secure. Concrete floor, pavers, all wire. Etc.
The wire is thin and lays flat, so it doesn’t hurt their paws. It’s also been covered with dirt since this video. And missing a leg won’t stop them from digging. Or from doing anything that a 4-legged fox can do.
Oh this video was taken a long time ago! I was so surprised by how the fox yard looked since on Facebook we've been able to follow the development of fox holes and fox towers hahaha! Everyone really should follow Fox Tales in Facebook, they post videos and pics of our sweet girls and Senna every single day

It will take awhile for Winter & Frannie to get use to Fla humidity & heat, but you know that ..... Please keep a close eye on them ..... 45 yrs ago I saw a horse go through heat stroke and it destroyed the horse ..... it was horrible ..... a lesson learned for all creatures great & small ❣❣

That dog is being friendly. That's a border collie cross. They're extremely (sometimes terrifyingly) intelligent, and not at all pushy. Should work out well, and the dog will be a good friend to have in a new place.
