Great video. ☺️ Edit: I prefer the 1996 Tube Stock more than the 1995 Tube Stock. The 1996 stock is my most favourite trains ever built especially because of the sound of the motors but I love the 1995 stock too. They both have the same motors but different traction packs and invertors. It's weird how the 1996 stock is older than the 1995 stock but I guess it makes sense now because the GTO Traction pack that the 1996 stock uses is slightly older than the newer more modern IGBT Traction pact that the 1995 stock uses. You can see examples of these on the newer Class 458, Class 460 and Class 334 trains which use the same Traction Invertors as the 1995 Tube Stock on the Northern line. The Class 465/2, the Class 465/9, the Class 466 and Class 365 trains use the same Traction Invertors as the 1996 Tube Stock on the Jubilee Line. Me personally I prefer the sound of the GTO Traction pack especially on the 1996 Tube Stock but I love both trains.
Actually, it Should Be Called 1998 Stock. Because The Rolling Stock isn't Even Related With The Year on it's Name itself! The 1st Sets Were Delivered On June 12th 1998!!! Not 1995! The '96 Stock in my Opinion is Better. Because It's More Related with It's Year On It's Name. As The 1st 6 6-Car Sets Were Produced in 1996, Which Proves that the Name "1996 Stock" Is More Reasonable. Also, It Uses the GTO Inventers with the Three-Phase AC Motors. While '95 Stock uses The Three-Phase IGBT Inventers with The AC Motors, Also Fitted With Passenger-Door Control Which was not Used Whatsoever!

Same. Because I find the engines and the compressors when the 1995 stock stands at the platform so scary
I like these more than 1996 stock
Nah I like the 96s more
@@LiftEnthusiast2020OFFTOPIC i hate the 96s
Same 95 are better
Same dude
Great video!
Thanks!
Great railway video as always.
Thank you very much!
I think I guess a pattern of video lineup. tram, tube stock, tram, tube stock.
bingo!
Great video
Thanks!
If you don't know the motors of these are actually very similar to the 96 stocks .
Good video
Thanks
that train is northern line
The engines of these trains when they sit at a station (Especially underground) sound pretty creepy imo
It’s traction motors not engines
No the traction motor is the sound when accelerating and decelerating. I wasn't talking about that
@@Great_WesternTVFan oh wait do you mean the compressor? My bad
@@Aero__08 don't worry
Great vid
thanks
Make the best of the 2009 stocks soon
4 days later

Blown my mind
I thought the 1996 Stock is 1997
no, no, no you're wrong. 1995 was a production for 1995 stock and they starts service since 1998
