Very interesting malik! My kh was 2 with a 7ph! GH 8! I was worried about the ph but it's holding steady! I use tap water ph 7. Kh 15 GH 17! I have a ton of snails and use kappa or almond leaves! I will look for the resins you mentioned! I thank everyone for the making of your vid!

Terry your water is great for growing up your fish ! only need resin to trigger a spawn if the fish don't do it naturally.. in most cases they do what they are suppose to do ;) i think you are good for now!

Just some info on how I do my Zebra water that may be helpful. My RO is 6.2ph 0gh 0kh. Most RO is 0gh/kh. My tap is 7.8ph 100gh 100kh .For breeding I mix 4 parts Ro to 1 part tap. 6.2+6.2+6.2+6.2+7.8÷5 giving me a final RO/Tap mix of 6.6ph. For breeding ph is slightly less important that Gh/Kh. You will want to use as many RO parts as needed to get gh to around 20/25ppm. My tap water is 100gh÷ 5 parts total (4ro/1tap) giving me 20gh. 150gh tap would require more Ro parts to get down to 20-25ppm. Say 5RO to 1 tap. 150÷6= 25GH and so on. You can use this method for many types of fish, you just need to know the parameters your fish will need.Hopefully this helps some beginners out.

Do you condition your water after a water change with ro water or rainwater I’ve got a rodi set up going for my salt water tank but what if I just used a simple hose filter to help soften it

I once bred bristlenose plecos when I was about 15, now 29 I want to get back into breeding fish and these ones have stolen my heart. They're so cute. I am gonna be starting a zebra tank soon.
From what I remember, plecos need an aged tank, i was told 6 months at least. Is this the case with zebras?

I'm curious how monthly seasonal changes could possibly be triggers for domesticated fish in climate-controlled tanks/houses?
Surely it must be coincidence that so many people have breeding triggered in the same month.
