@@tacticzrules It's not a test, it's a goodbye to Formula 1. Sentimental gift, that's all. It's a 2019 Mercedes aswell. He won't be back racing in Formula 1. Lucky to have lasted as long as he did!!
You know what makes me smile? The Positivity Grosjean spreads, as a driver always asking if someone was ok after a crash. He may be known for one of the drivers who caused crashes due to his overtakes, contact etc. But apart from the Accident from Bahrain he always kept spreading Positivity. He even makes jokes of his horror crash, on his Bahrain track Guide he proudly said; "This is my barrier." What makes me angry is how "Sudden" people love him just because he survived the crash. All the people who followed him on Instagram for attention. Romain had around 900k before the crash and 12h later 1.4 million Grosjean is an amazing guy despites all the memes. I also agree, Romain was who I rooted for during his entire F1 career. With competitive equipment he could've been among the leader board consistently. Nice to see a true professional moving forward. I wish him and his family all the best.
In a world, where many people feel embarrassed to seek counsel from a psychologist, Romain is a great example of how it can change your life for the better. It takes great courage to look after your mental health and work through issues, and it's very inspiring to have Romain speak so openly about this.
The more time Schumacher and Mazapin are in the Haas, the more impressive the fact that Roman and Kevin's performance last year becomes. The car is nearly impossible to drive most race weekends.
You can't really say that since they are different cars. Also Haas' budget has been decreasing every year. It is very likely that this year's car is relatively worse than last year's car.
I love that he acknowledged, and his family, that he is not Romain without motorsport. I respect that their family unit needs to be comfortable with what he is racing. But, that they understand it is integral to who he is. Take away that passion and you change who he is, and where would that leave them, strife and resentment most possibly. He may not have been my fav driver, but I respect him- he sounds like a wonderful person. Wishing him nothing but the best in Indy and also big props to Toto for setting up the test for him!

Brilliant episode! It's incredible to hear how well he's dealt with such a traumatic event. The insight on Mercedes as well, makes me hope for James Allison back on the podcast even more now : D

I'm guessing it was mentioned in the film "Days of Thunder" that you'll never get a driver to go to a funeral because it brings it home how dangerous and fragile racing can be....
Why? This man threw mud all over Lewis last year saying he’s overrated and doesn’t deserve the salary he gets and now he’s driving the same man’s car with an idiotic grin on his face? Shame on Mercedes for doing this! It’s like spitting in Lewis’s face!
