From what I’ve heard, the dramione book isn’t a rewritten Draco Malfoy and the mortifying ordeal, same author. The publisher read the fanfic and apparently signed her and it’s a new dramione coded book with a completely new story. But even without that, I would still say that Draco Malfoy and the mortifying ordeal of falling in love is a must must read, one of my favorite fanfics.
I had that one dramione fanfic book on my list because the cover was pretty but I didn’t realize it was based on Draco Malfoy and the mortifying ordeal of being in love - I actually really enjoyed that story, so now I’m even more excited for the book!
The Irresistible Urge to Fall For Your Enemy is not the same as Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love! It's the same author but a new story, still inspired by Dramione.
4:34 I don’t mind when either the heroine or hero are a bit of a mess and need help from a partner learning their way through adulthood, it’s 100% how it’s handled and the way the more “mature” partner thinks about the other. It’s one thing to find someone endearing for their naivety and want to help them grow, but it’s another thing to be attracted to someone because they’re less experienced in life. So often the hero will be attracted to the heroine because she comes across as a damsel in distress, and that’s so toxic.
I've heard some of the fanfics you mentioned are getting taken down this year since they are getting a rewrite/published next year. You should download them if you want to read them!
If you enjoy Liana De la Rosa's historical romances, you may also enjoy A Tropical Rebel Gets the Duke by Adriana Herrera coming out February 5th (the first 2 books in this series are already out).
Say You’ll Remember Me absolutely BROKE me. I’m very curious to see the reception for it. It’s very very heavy, with our heroine caring for her sick mother who has dementia. It sounds like 2025 is going to be full of romances with sick/aging parents interestingly.
Having read the ARC of Out of the Woods by Hannah Bonam-Young, READ ITTTT. Caleb, my man... I am still sick every time I think about him. Obviously, so well written as well. Hannah is a fantastic author!
Definitely check out Heart of the sun by Mia Sheridan it sounds really good... I have a lot of same books as you except I added some historical romances I don't know what and when Elisa Braden will have out in 2025 but I am excited about her book it is always fun time. Richard Swan and Joe Abercombie are on my list too...both are starting a new series... I added I am not Jessica Chen by Ann Liang too... I added Tarah new book but will check out this Flirting with disaster too it seems really good. Good luck and hopefully you have a lot of five stars...
Omg so my notes I have taken and added to my TBR ... I hope my library add these to their list because if not, my wallet is going to hate or love me...$$$$
you must read draco malfoy and the mortifying ordeal of being in love its so good and one i go back too whenever i need a happy pick me up! hope the book brings the same cosy vibe!
FYI-- early reviewers are saying that This Book Will Bury Me is a fictionalized account of the 2022 University of Idaho Massacre-- a case that is still going through the legal system and the victims have not yet found justice. Given the apparent messages in the book, this is both incredibly exploitative and hypocritical. I know that when reading The Last Housewife, I felt like I was reading a fictionalized version of the Sarah Lawrence Sex Cult. So I definitely think it's a pattern of behaviour with the author and has made me ultimately decide not to engage with any of her books in future.

The most wonderful crime of the year was okay 👍 I didn't enjoy how things got randomly revealed.
Rio is the one who has like a man crush on Ryan Shay
