  • Located off the lobby of the Dolphin Hotel in the Epcot Resort Area of the Boardwalk in Walt Disney World, there is a new Mexican food restaurant called Rosa Mexicano. From hand crafted margaritas to guacamole and ceviche tastings, this restaurant has a ton to offer in a diverse menu. Will the feed be as good as it sounds? Let's find out... Enjoy!

We absolutely love your reviews and have watched them all! My husband and I have heard you both say that Dan’s guacamole is way better than the guacamole you have tasted on property! We absolutely love guacamole and are always looking for great new and amazing recipes for it! Would Dan be willing to share his recipe or is it a secret? Or another fun and amazing thing to see is you both doing some cooking shows, because you both mention that you like to cook! 😊

We've been to the one in NYC a few times and it is always excellent. It is always crowded and I would recommend reservations if possible. I look forward to trying the Dolphin location. We planned to go to Agave Azul last weekend, but found a last minute reservation at California Grill instead.

Enjoyed your review. Our experience there was much better than yours, but we opted for the guacamole made table side. If you ever go back, I'd recommend that as they will make it to your liking. We got the version with bacon and cotija cheese and it was the best guac I've ever had. We all got some version of the enchiladas and really enjoyed them, but I agree the duck is the way to go - so, so good and a great mole sauce which can be hard to find.

I'm happy to have another solid, somewhat casual, restaurant in that resort area -- and one that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Breakfast, by the way, has been getting some good reviews (churro Mickey waffles!) ... although I guess they don't validate parking for breakfast and the parking is $$$. I'm curious how you'd rank all the Mexican on Disney property (San Angel Inn, La Hacienda, Maya Grill, Rosa) -- I'll have to go rewatch your old reviews! And will definitely plan on checking out your off-property recommendation ... I'd love to see you do a review of that (& other off property recommendations) as well!

Thanks! Also, thank you for letting us know they don’t validate for bfast!! It is expensive to park there!

my kids absolutely love birria tacos. It is so hard to get the consistency of the sauce just right so that the tortilla are flavorful, but not greasy.

If I owned a restaurant and saw you coming, I think I'd run and lock the door. The emojis aren't working, so I couldn't post the laughing one. I'm just joking. I love the Dolphin and stay there at least one night every time I go to WDW. Mexican food is my favorite, so while you were filming, I kept hearing the word fantastic and how good everything was, so I was super excited to try it next trip. Then, at home, it was more meh, it was good, but I won't go back. I'm going to stick with your initial reaction and give it a try. Thanks as always for these food reviews! Oh, and even though you mentioned it, I have to include it in my comments...what about dessert? HA

Hey guys! Staying at the Dolphin in 3 weeks. I have dinner reservations for every night except for EPCOT day, and I was planning to eat exclusively at the Food and Wine Festival that day. However, "Duck Carnitas Enchiladas" struck a nerve with me. Dan, would you leave the Food Fest around dinnertime to get those if you were staying at the Dolphin?

No. They were good, but not leaving Epcot good 😂

Isnt this part of the chain in NYC? It wasnt great there, either. Just simple, casual mexican.
