Exceptionally good tutorial. However, on smallish screens, light themes display more legibly.

Excellent work in explaining the entire workflow of Local with the simplicity it deserves. As a software developer, I also use it as a tool for streamlining my WordPress development workflow. I've now got a better understanding of it, particularly its pipelines in the WP engine right from the development environment to deployment on cloud servers.

Thanks for sharing! It's a great tool and I'm glad you're getting some value from it as well! I'm obviously a huge fan of Local, but you definitely pointed out a lot of the features that I love too!

The all in one migration plugin is excellent but the downside is there is a file size of 300 Mb limit on the download. You have to pay $69 to remove the limit. What makes this worse is it is an annual fee and can only be used on a website you own. I have spent half a day trying to find an alternative with a higher file size limit
and which is easy to use. Unfortunately, I have not found one.

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback! I understand where you're coming from. A lot of plugins nowadays have the tiered feature set so that you have to pay in order to access the full potential of the plugin. Kind of frustrating. As for your search, have you looked at this? deliciousbrains.com/wp-migrate-db-pro/

@@blogwithben Yes, I have tried that plugin. It has a drag and drop facility which is supposed to let you move a website to Local by Flywheel so you can make changes on your PC . However, every time I tried to drag and drop the zip file for a website it came back with an error. This is very frustrating particularly when Local is really good for website development. .

@@blogwithben Thanks for the link. I will give it a try but I suspect as usual I will have had to purchase something before I get any meaningful help !
