It's not even a question. PC is far superior unless you just don't have access to one. Stay off of the official servers! Community servers are great and tend to have active admins.
I've played both pc and console versions and even though the console version for the previous generation of consoles is very buggy, I'd argue you get a better vanilla experience because there are far less hackers on officials servers on console compared to pc. Granted dupers are big problem on both platforms which effects the drop rate of rare loot, but you're not likely to get aim botted from someone 5kms away on console.
@@clarksmith494 There's way less cheaters overall on PC than console when you factor in duping. ...... little bro okay and pc still got a lot more hackers lol.
@@AnakinFreakWalker170- Both platforms have hackers, a big difference though is consoles rely on the devs to solve it while on pc there's more external solutions in trying to solve the problem. When console gamers think of mods they think its to make it easy when most of the time they fix what the devs never did or make things work better. I been playing pc games for decades and the cheating is not nearly as bad as console gamers assume it is.
Great video! For a true official experience, I go to console. Next gen has made a huge difference on overall performance and unlike PC, hacks are extremely rare. So if you don't really care about mods, console is definitely the better option of the two.
I have over 3k hours on PC, mostly on official servers and have come across hackers maybe twice and it was years ago. PC is for adults and thier capable kids, console has and always will be for children.
@@awolfv If you truly have 3k hours, you’re not being honest about the hacking. That is a fact of DayZ on PC.
PC is a system filled with broken and incomplete games, no real worthwhile exclusives(apart from a few exceptions), every MMO is packed with cheats and hacks, we receive poor ports, delayed(sometimes indefinitely) ports, it lacks some of the biggest IPs in the world and when it finally does get a decent game, it’s released what… 2 years past its relevance? So we get to play a game years after everyone else has already moved on to the next thing we wont see. But it has slightly better textures and more FPS, if you’re prepared to spend more than you probably should on hardware that holds its value like Mel Gibson does his liquor. It’s also plagued with the most toxic and intolerable people on the planet who have so little to their name that the very fact they own a PC is a boastable accomplishment. And don’t get me wrong, I enjoy gaming on PC too, but the state of PC gaming at the minute is atrocious and it will continue to be as long as people aren’t honest about the state of things. On console not totally sure without renting a server and locking it. on PC there is a offline mode download that is more or less a singleplayer. will get back on whither there is a single player option or possibility on console
Im fairly new to DayZ, i have just under 2000 hours logged. I've never once heard of a player preferring console to PC. The few friends I have that still play games on console cant stand DayZ on console and wont play it until they get a PC.
This isnt true, according to surveys done, 90% of people dont want to play DayZ on console..
