    Bus Rapid Transit
    The VDL Citea SLFA-181 Electric is a low-floor bus with a length of 18.1 metres, equipped with a fully electric driveline. In the Netherlands more than 100 of these buses are used. They are used in Eindhoven as citybus, in Groningen on QLink route 1, on a suburban route between Amsterdam and Volendam and around Schiphol Airport. VDL Bus & Coach has won the prestigious EBUS Award 2019 in Berlin in the category ‘Manufacturer of e-buses.

    I have commuted in these buses when I was in Amsterdam for 20 days. Smoothest rides of my life.

    The roads are so neat and clean! Looks way better than here in America.

    Not gonna lie, but VDL makes the coolest buses. I wish they were introduced in the U.S

      I think solaris urbino 4 generation is better than vdl

      I wish people realized that trolleybuses are better, especially when they have auxiliary batteries.

    Not all are BRT bus some are bus lane and I've seen Trolleybus as Electric bus on bus lane and BRT System.

    VDL Citea with overhead charging at terminus should be able to put in a good day’s work.

    This is not qualified as BRT in my opinion, I don't see separate bus lane that is isolated from the rest of roads used by cars...

      crys ed the name BRT is in the first place referring to the design of the bus. In all of the examples the buses use separate bus lanes for part of the routes.

      I believe another criterion for BRT is that they only stop at stations and passengers must tap a pass or metro card purchased at the station- but never on the bus. This minimizes the time spent at stops.
