Santosh dai is stuck in his own time- the heavily restrictive Panchayat era where freedom of speech was forbidden and acting was the only option to make people laugh. He was talented sure, but he was also in a privileged position and fully exploited the opportunities. He doesn't understand that stand-up is not a new thing, it's been with us for centuries. Humour and satire are part of our daily lives, and all of us throw shades at others in one way or another. Stand-Ups are a bit structured, and longer, that's it! Santosh dai is a has-been, Sita is a rising star. She should look up to international comedy landscape for inspirations, not at our bygone generation. Very happy to see Nepali comedy moving away from forceful acting and caricatures to hard-hitting satire.

@@in-quiry2415Depends on your taste. There's tons of comedians out there who completely refrain from profanity and vulgarity. It's more about compelling story telling, incisive observation and criticking, dark, dead- pan, intelligent humour. Also words you find offensive in a dictionary dont always carry the same, exact meaning in general usage. Contextualisation is important. In short, comedy standard is relative to audience standard.
Yes I respect those comedians who do not accuse someone(some type of women) for completely different.. non related matter..I don't like anyone being called 'the person who does sex with his/her mother) in any case or in any other possible way.. I don't think 'taste' matters in the case of crime. Everything the west is practicing is not always right. As far as anyone is not accusing someone.. it's fine..
