    My issue with Karim’s comments is that they position themselves as innovators, as if nobody else was addressing these issues before Harvard thought to do so. Frankly, it’s a bit on the nose. The statement ‘Nobody was approaching it in a scientific way’ is simply false and paints a picture that nothing comes into this world without some prestigious university’s involvement.

      I'm not sure that was his intention, but I appreciate your sharing your views. I think he was specifically referring to their specific approach to the issues. Nonetheless, incumbent leaders do tend to see the world through the lens of their own leadership.
