    The timing of this video is perfect given the press release of "Stargate". Looks like we are all swimming in snake oil now.

      @@CXOTalk although I don't agree with everything, a lot of what the guest was saying is spot on, unfortunately we have no choice now that nation states are "officially" entering the dispute and upping the stakes.

    Jai Hind. By Exceeding Human Intelligence, we can see that AI will become the new Brahmins of mankind. Whoever who controls the new Brahmins will be the Master of the AI universe.

    42:30 - AI is precisely the reason you are getting so many job applications. It's creating a cycle of nonsense where we have an infinite loop of AI talking to AI, without a single person's authentic ideas in the loop.

    Sucks that it takes a Princeton Professor to capture attention on this conversation. I've mentioned stuff like this and get nothing but crickets, lol .... People pay $ 200 for ChatGPT when, in reality, they can get the same quality, if not better, quality from Gemini. Who am I though Right? 😢
    On another hand.... not too many people talking about the AI Regulations department that should be in place to govern user rights, creative commons, and much more.... like surveillance, microphone sniffing, and the openess of everything being FREE Data to train models, being overkill. There's just not enough regulation on ethics of the tools.

      We have shows coming up on AI ethics and regulation. Check out www.cxotalk.com for the schedule and subscribe to the newsletter to be notified. We have a show in April with two members of the House of Lords, talking about AI ethics and related topics.

    To say ai is intelligent is to say a submarine can swim.

    • @CXOTalk
      @CXOTalk  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Such an interesting point. On the other hand, what actually does a submarine do? And what is the definition of swim?

    • @omidsouresrafil7386
      @omidsouresrafil7386 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ a submarine floats based on the laws of physics and systems that control it. It can it even do a small portion of what a fish does without human instructions

    • @louisifsc
      @louisifsc 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Without getting into semantics of swimming, I think the comment sums up the enormous gap between the capabilities of a submarine in comparison with anything that "swims". We pretty much engineered something with far greater capability than our own. However, a submarine can't make it's own decisions, the problem is that sufficiently advanced AI will.

      The stock market tanked in response to DeepSeek, but increased compute efficiency will lead to new applications and faster growth of AGI or "superintelligence." AI is here to stay.

    So Nietzsche said that God is dead , i guess our Uberminch will double as our Master. Replace all of our struggles with this and we’ll be bathing in nihilism in no time.

      @@CXOTalkindeed, the comment extrapolates que a bit, but I think I agree with the sentiment that society isn't exactly moving in the right direction. The youth are already quite nihilistic with no signs of improvement.
