The Bougainville crisis was for the Panguna Landowners K10 billion environmental compensation claim and not for independence. It was side tracked by Landowners like Francis Ona to independence purposely to protect the Landowners from paying those that have fought and died for their cause.
After this crisis very little change still the same problems with Pogera,Ok tedi,Madang nickel mine etc Landowners are still loosing alot in Everything only a few elites are benefiting
This is a reflection on how the poor PNG government was, sending trops to wipe the people of bougainvillea, even with the support of Australia government
Its frustrating to watch...this is bad and it reminds them of the past inhuman act of the PNG GOVERNMENTS , and its a stuck warning to rest our people too..its brutal act..
BRA, was a rebal army, Bougainvilleans choice war over peaceful Meleansian ways of solving conflicts,,who else to be blamed??? PNG is a Country and laws are there..Law breakers face the consequences..
