So so very sad I had missed him when he came here to Portland Oregon I love Josiah and this is my all time favorite song of his plz someone just hire Josiah to come play this at my funeral when I die!!! I love this song so much, I just learned it. Before ever picking up my guitar while listening to it, I always assumed he tuned his guitar down to like D standard. I was wrong. What I figured out was he only tunes the B string down a whole step to A, and uses a capo on the first fret. Tuning that B string down to an A, in my opinion, creates kinda a haunting, tense quality, but also warm and as soothing at the same time. Idk. I believe it makes the chords suspended. Something so small and simple yet such a powerful sound, and his voice compliments it so well. I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it.
I want to learn this song also, where did you get the tabs or did you just do it by ear?
