He makes a good point about constant experimentation (guilty lol) though on the other hand it's easy to tell if a plant has increased lipid sythesis by the waxy appearance on the leaves, the proliferation of plant trichomes, nitrogenous bacteria forming agrigate concentration on the roots etc. so in that respect it's easier to tell if a preperation has a negative effect. Surprised he didn't mention LAB which is one of the best innoculants for soil health and compost, recently other inoculants utilising LAB have come to light, "Super, or Blue LABs" (from Steve Raisner PoptentPonics) using spirulina in LAB serum isolates Phycocyanin that produces miraculous results on very stressed plants; also you can make a Triacontanal anaerobic extract from Lucern with LAB which is a very effective growth stimulant (from Graeme Sait). I'm not keen on the JLF preps myself, just because the smell is so bad, adding concenrated anaerobes feels wrong when we go to so much trouble keeping the rootzone aerobic (I may be biased by my aerated compost tea background) I have used nettle & comfrey JLF with decent results, but nowadays I prefer to prepare nettle & comfrey extracts by filling a barrel with a wire mesh filter raised off the bottom with bricks at the bottom, weighting the plant material with a big rock, and draining off the liquid as it forms, this extract can then be bottled and stored easily using it at a 20:1 dilution, there's no reason this would not also work for the herbal recipies IMO. I'm a big fan of the JADAM IMO much simpler than the older KNF preps, rather than just collect forest leaf mold I also add soil samples from the rootzones of any local plants displaying excess lipids in Spring. @@OrtoForesta scrivendo KNF viene fuori molti preparati. Ti chiedo se sono corrette le sigle dei preparati essenziali di cui si parla al minuto 18 del video quando riassumente gli essenziali cioè le basi.

Ora lo chiamano jlf Ma ad esempio mio nonno è una mia vicina da sempre, usavano un fusto da 200 l riempito per metà di Pollina, terriccio e scarti dell'orto e poi per la restante metà di acqua, lo diluirlo e lo spargevano nell'orto prima di vangare è in estate molto diluito per annaffiare le piante.
