One of my favourite things about AoS is that Chaos won, and it didn't end the world, so we get to imagine what everyday life is actually like under Chaos. For me the best thing about the Dawnbringer Crusades is the fact that they really make Order a thing in of itself, rather than just being "normal". They have these huge floating prefab cities, they bend the environment to their will and live very structured, regimented lifestyles. The dark side of that of course is tyranny, oppression, monopoly and all of these other bad excesses of order. In this story we see Chaos as an antithetical force to that; sure, the battle itself would have been nightmarish and destructive, but the outcome is that the monopoly is broken and after the Slaaneshi host moves on there is room for the little guys to operate again. You can't help but wonder if in 100 years that Slaaneshi Daemon might be seen as a liberator...
i love the reference to the miser brothers songs. oh, i reread it, and the keeper says the livestock is in danger of starving. and for the orden headed beasts, i think of the kaos sheep from skylanders swap force. and your welcome.
Lore Question: Are the Seraphon sentient? No text I find makes this clear. Are they just mindless constructs of light when they are remembered by the Slaan? And what happens if they get "killed"? Do they come back again as long as the Slaan remembers them? There was also a cool short story (or even shorter) in the Seraphon battletome in which a vampire tried to bite a Saurus, but gets burned by the light, resulting in the Saurus biting back and ripping it's head off.
@@adambielen8996 like, what are they doing, their relationship with the cities/crusades and how were they affected by Alarielle's lifequake Bc all I know about them in the AoS is that they are those ancient aliens entities that teleport and do things following the Great Plan. Or that they guard places of power like the silver shard in the Callis and toll books
@@franciscoteixeira174 They are attacking various locations in Ghur in an attempt to quiet that Realm. As the Lifequake wasn't bad for them but the counter reverberations from Ghur have driven many Saurus into a feral state where they attack everyone around them. This has affected the Coalesced far worse than the Starbourne.

The prince is trashed away and end up worshiping nurgle saving the realm from slaanesh only to have it fell to nurgle ? it's an old short story from the start of AoS i think

Absolutely love your videos especially on Slaanesh. Thank you for all these lore videos!
Hey Doug, great video
I'm really confused about the place of the Seraphon on the mortal realms and what the great plan says about the Age of the Beast
How are you confused? Can you be a bit more specific?
