Because it was never released as a single. But it could probably have become a hit if it had been a single.

@@czeital You're right - it was a single. I didn't know that. But it was released as a solo single by Andy Scott. If it had been released as a Sweet single, rather than as an Andy Scott single, it might have been more successful.

@@butters395 It was a single in Europe! It`s in my collection... As a matter of fact,it was a radio hit in the UK and Germany in 1975! And yes,it was added on the US/Capitol `Give Us A A Wink`. In Europe it was on the UK/RCA `Desolation Boulevard`. Sweet greets from a die-hard SWEET fanatic. 🤩

For those true fans of Andy Scott/Sweet. Andy is playing a very beautiful 1975 Phil Manning Custom Stereo PM1 Guitar with tremolo made in Melbourne Australia by "MATON" guitars which I believe he purchased as a replacement after he'd broken a neck on another make of guitar when the Sweet had toured Australia in the mid 70's. I wonder if he still has this rare guitar in his collection?

I read that on the solo single that Andy played the other instruments and Mick played drums for him. Sure sounds like Mick in the background at the last "lookin for starliiiiiiiìiiiight."
this is why I don't like him.... every song sweet did was equal credits... scott tucker connolly priest.... regardless of who wrote what...but when andy wrote something... it's just his name... and him performing...he doesn't want to share...not a team player....u wouldn't see brian...steve or mick doing that ! 🤨

Looking back 40 plus yrs. These guys were soooo cute. Andy had such sexy eyes lol course I was 12 lol. They were heavy metal before there was heavy metal. Too bad the radio didn’t play more of their songs back then.

They did in fact write great love songs. 'One example is their self-written song 'You're Not Wrong For Loving Me' which was the b-side to their first single 'Funny Funny' Right through to 'Dream On' which appeared on the 'Level-Headed ' album along with 'Love is Like Oxygen'.
@@TheHumbuckerboy I'm familiar with those songs. I just meant there weren't many of what people consider traditional love songs (especially slow ones). They tended toward the faster songs more often.
