After many times of being asked I have finally got round to reviewing Kopparberg Cider. Raspberry, Mixed Fruits and Sweet Apples have all passed my lips for this review. Enjoy.
Realistically, and I don’t know for sure, they are not giving the third bottle away for free. They increased the price already so the discounted price is the amount they should have been selling it for. So for example bottles should actually be more but by increasing the price and then placing a deal on it (to take it back down to the original price) people see the discount and think that they should buy it before it gets up to full price. And they make more money doing this because people buy 3 rather than 1 and rush to buy it because ‘if they don’t buy it quick the sale will go’

I love these reviews, you down a cider in 2 minutes it takes me about 20 mins to drink a cider! The accents funny as well it seems to go from Essex to Birmingham with a touch of Leeds!!!
Hi mate, to answer your question, a cider like this probably costs the supermarket about 70p to buy and they put a markup on it and make deals to make you buy more. If it wasn't making them money they wouldn't be doing it ;)
I work in retail and the majority of our stock is priced up by 35-45%. And more often than not a massive order will be made when it’s cheap and then you are able to do these special deals.
They had parma violet brothers in B&M bargains last week. I get guinness foreign extra by the truckload from B&M whenever they get it in because they sell it a quid cheaper than everywhere else. When I've had them all I'll go to the next town over and grab what's left of theirs.
I dunno if the word you’re looking or maybe acidic? That’s the only thing that comes to mind when I drink these very nice but just something off, I’d say acidic.
If I'm getting drunk on those I just sup the pear ones and they're really nice ice cold. The strawberry and lime ones are the nicest IMO but I can't get drunk on those as they're too sickly.
You should try the old mout cider range I just tried the new pineapple and raspberry it's very refreshing and goes down like pop you could definitely drink a few before you realise you're pissed up lol

Supermarkets make money on these offers because the more you buy retail (within the offer), the more boxes they can buy wholesale from the supplier - and that's where their major profit margin is. Simple wholesale to retail profit.

Finally gone to my town! Cider gives you wind if drank from a can but most is lovely. I had an elderflower one in Miller and Carter, it was beautiful!
John Taylor We went to Miller in Carter in Stratford-Upon-Avon over Easter. What a lovely restaurant it is. The fillet steak was amazing.

I found cider is great for when you have a hangover. That sweet taste and a bit of "hair of the dog" makes you feel better.
Strawberry & Lime is my favourite, shame you didn't review that flavour too.

Kopparberg was my favourite cider before switching to beer because of headaches. I then had to switch to kava because of alcoholism.

I bought a whole sackfull of the new Brudders cider flavours from B&M Bargains for £1 each. They were smaller than normal bottles but still cheap.
