My mother, in the 70's worked in an office where the Body Shop is now. Flooding of Bank Buildings was not uncommon. Maybe the cricket ground absorbed excess water.
It doesn't matter. William Duke of Normandie has gone. So English can be used. Centor, Center or Centa is perfect English. But respectfully if a person does choose to spell in French then it is respectfull to allow with out critisisim, as mere language difference is too trivial to go to war over. Don't worry about it.
@@davecooper3238 Well no problem with those in the UK taking a French form. Myself I prefer the neutral non genderised 'Or' form when referring to things. Therefore as with many of the French forms using 'Re' instead or 'the masculine 'ER'. I realise it is not proper UK. But then I am English and not a supportor of the Tyrannical Kingdom with a dynastic non elected Monarch. So please go they own way whilst we go ours. I realise it may be a form of English Gramma Reform. But in my opinion it is high time some of the English Gramma was sorted out. Goodness knows what you use for the feminin form? Maybe like with the use of 'ess' to denote a female doctor you prefer to object to doctress as some how it does not fit in to your own view of UK Gamma. Where as others have no problem with it. Me-I would not even object to a Russian using Doctressa when he is trying to write English. Next I think we need our own English 'Speech House (Parliment in Latinised French, from Ye Old Days of The Duke of Normandy Later Norman King after the Conquest). Speech House or House of Representatives. Otherwise the continuing multi-cultural farce is likly to continue and grow & worsen without the representation of the ethnic group the country is named after. I have no objection to a little French creeping in now and then and in the past. But we do have our own which can work easily and comfortable along side the French. As long as the Le and La for everything doesn't creep in. As then them selves have no hard fast rules for there definitives.
Unfortunately, this is just the beginning. In the next 1-4 years, natural disasters will increase tens of times all over the world. These are cosmic processes that repeat cyclically every 12,000 years, and they not related to human activity. To save ourselves and the planet, it's vital to build the *Creative* *Society,* where the life, safety and well-being of every person will be the main priorities. Creative Society is a peaceful world without conflicts, poverty, inflation, crises, where we can solve all climate problems. All details can be found on the official sıte of the project.
The Fire Brigade arrived to put it out!

Even the sea is flooded
Ridiculous. Businesses lost/damaged and the council does nothing about it. Second time this year.
The centre of Hastings, or Hastings centre, isn’t spelled center in Hastings.
