Quick Thoughts: Marvel Legends Superior Spider-Man Reveal!

- Superior Spider-Man!!! Another character that’s been in desperate need of an update! This guy looks dope but I’m not really crazy about the body.
I think they should have used the Marvel Legends Amazing Fantasy Spidey Body.

But Wade, they sculpted a completely new torso for this figure. Though I agree with you on the articulation. Superior Octopus figure had a diaphragm joint with a backpack, so I don't see why they couldn't give this figure that articulation point and the lower ab crunch.
I will never understand why Hasbro only used that Superior Octopus body mold on one figure, and no one else ever again.

I like to think the messy web lines are cause Ock couldn't get the pattern right and kept screwing up, so he just said screw it and gave up trying to make it look neat
Loving this and the reflection in the eyes was a beautiful touch. The old one was so dated. Glad I never got the printed extra parts for him
I still can't get what's happening with that head. Is it like a print to make it look reflective or is it actual chrome paint/vac metal?
Finally! 😭 All we need now is a new 2099 on the RYV body and a Miles on the AF15 body 🙏
What with everyone wanting the Amazing Fantasy buck for every single Spider-Man figure? That supposed to be him in high school. Just because Spider-Man is ripped and sleek, doesn’t mean he’s short and scrawny forever. Superior Spider-Man is an older Spider-Man.
He’s an adult SOMETIMES, he’s not always a tiny child.

I think your right about the body mould but it gets a little boring when all the moulds are the same the slight differences really give the figures more personality

Just an overall great showing. ML team nice work. Hope people pick these up. It’s a nice offering. Finally getting some of the things we all bitched about in the figures. Such as extra hands heads articulation pinless and different characters. Still my favorite of all these were the Ghost Rider & bike as well as 2pk heroes for hire
man if they can keep this pace and quality, this could be one of their best years.
@@UnparalleledUniverse yeah I agree. Only I would say put less out. Dig deep into figures that haven’t been made. Less of the same they have a billion versions of. Also I hope they explore soft goods. Even Mcfarlane is trying it out. Got to keep up with the game. I am loving it so far though.

He looks cool for a Hasbro figure . Again hasbro despite it being in trouble has been making good figures.

Unparalleled I have a question, I’m stuck between getting this new Spiderman or the old superior Spiderman. The new one looks cool and has the legs but the old one just has a special place with me because I had it as a kid. Thank you and keep up the great work man!

I think this spider man is okay collecting is about fun . I like the waist swivel because it gives the spider man figure a good round house kick post . Nothing to be concerned about in my opinion . It's not a hot toys figure . So you can't expect it to be super perfect like I said collecting is about fun. Not nitpicking.
yeah, same thoughts I'm still baffled my they still use the old pizza spiderman body when they have the amazing fantasy.
I swear this figure could've 100% perfect had it been using the renew your vows buck instead of the iron spider
It’s not the iron spider buck it has the ryv legs (( you can tell by the toe joints and sort of knee cut )) with new arms ( I think ) and the torso which is 100% new
I guess I just don’t get. So much criticism, I’m just happy we have a new updated version.
Limit five and sold out immediately. This figure is not due until September so I assume they will maybe have some again. Not sure which retailers will have it. Pulse fails so hard on the preorders, it is not even funny.
Why the old body
The eye shape is wrong, Superior Spiderman doesn't have eyes like Peter's conventional suit
