Flinders Island Tour, summer 2018-19

Margaret and I travelled across northern Tasmania from Devonport to Bridport, stopping for a few days at Beauty Point and Low Head/Georgetown en-route. From Bridport we flew in a light plane to Lady Barron on Flinders Island, then spent about 2 weeks seeing the sights of Flinders Island and getting a good feel for the place. It was a very relaxed life on the island with many helpful people that we met. Highlights were Trousers Point campsite, Killiecrankie Bay and the walk over Mt Killiecrankie, and the wildlife and coast at The Patriarchs Wildlife Refuge. All told, this was a fabulous period of time travelling in a special corner of Tasmania.
