I can honestly say that you are the only gaming podcast I listen to every week so you are my main source of news. I’d say it’s the banter / tangents that keep me coming back though. Jim carrey films: The Cable Guy Liar Liar The Mask Dark Crimes Ace Ventura 1
Strong silent type? More like LOOSE silent type lol. Also, you guys didn’t even fully go into how stupid the PlayStation Portal is. It doesn’t have Bluetooth, so if you want to use wireless headphones or wireless earbuds with it, you have to buy special PlayStation headphones and earbuds. That’s an extra $150 (headphones) or $200 (earbuds) on TOP of the $200 price tag for the Portal (yes, I’m American). Nah, the PlayStation Portal is mindnumbingly stupid lol.
Very good points! we should have mentioned it. You can use a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones, which at-least, means you don't HAVE to spend the extra on the PS Link headphones right away.
@@SuperShowJonesy It’s all good, Jonesy. You guys can’t be expected to remember every single thing for each podcast. Truth is, I was interested in the Portal until I realized how lacking in features it actually is. I’m hoping that the Bluetooth issue will either garner so much backlash that Sony eventually releases a version of the Portal that is Bluetooth-enabled and compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled headphones and earbuds, but what’s more likely to happen is the Portal will fail miserably and Sony will just use its failure as evidence that the handheld market is dead now, even though the Portal isn’t really even a handheld console. It’s more a handheld accessory, but that won’t stop Sony from running with whatever BS narrative they want to go with.
@@SuperShowJonesy Thanks for the response Jonesy! But honestly this is simply not true, this is why I found the discussion so uninformed. Right now, 6 months in, there's 100+ games for the psvr2 and games are releasing so fast that I can honestly say we're getting around 10 games a month. I already have a backlog, and more games that I want but am yet to buy. So you might say 'yeah but they're not quality titles'. But that's also false. As a day 1 owner I've had GT7, Resident Evil Village, Synapse, Pavlov, The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners 1 and 2, Walkabout mini golf, Horizon, Green Hell VR, Tetris Effect, Hubris, Red Matter 2, No Man's Sky (the new update is to die for), Demeo, The Light Brigade, Switchback VR, VR Skater, and the The Room VR. And I'm honestly just listing a small subset of the excellent games on the device, just the ones I'm into. Sure a few of these are old, but these are still definitive editions I'm getting to play. I mean how much does the device have to have for us to say "it's there"? And I just want to point out that this isn't only about what's out. On the horizon are games like Vertigo 2, Phasmophobia, Madison VR, Paper Beasts, Resident Evil 4, Wanderer, and The 7th Guest. Again, a small subset. I think there's a lot of misinformation and ignorance in the gaming community about what's going on in the VR space. I think it's partly force of habit because VR was struggling for so long. But also this is simply not an accurate reflection of the present state of affairs and I think people need to research PSVR2 before making declarations. This is really not just me. Walk into the PSVR subreddit. You'll see that by and large many of us feel overwhelmed by how many games there are, and how little money and time we have to play all we'd like to. Anyway, lovely show as usual. It was just depressing to see this sort of misinformation being spread in the show.
I’m sure Kevin Smith will appreciate the shout out.
❤hope ya guys are well and happy ! Ty for always doing these shows :)

Why no consideration at all for the Steam Deck, which can do whatever the PlayStation Portal can and even more?
Steam Deck is a great bit of kit. We were only discussing the Portal as the details just dropped.

Should have gone sailing for attack on titan. You've already paid for it ffs lol.
Wow guys, peak of uninformed on psvr2!
I love VR and the PSVR2 is an improvement for sure, but it's lacking at the moment, especially for the price tag.
