It is crazy how they are asking an arm and a leg for the console but to put salt on your wounds they want more for a disk drive and stand. This is just nuts ,Sony is way out of touch
£800 for disk version of a ps5 pro and apparently the stand is sold separately. Nah brother not in this economy which they are shutting out a large majority of people and genuinely if you have a ps5 and you want a pro you might as well just get a PC at this point.
This is the highest price for a gaming console since the 3do. It’s also not the step up that the ps4 pro was to the ps4. It’s ludicrous. I’m not going to lie and act all enraged, because I was never going to upgrade anyway, but it proves how out of touch Sony is with its consumers.
My 9year old daughter LOVES Minecraft to the extent that nearly everything she wants is Minecraft orientated. If we say ‘you need a lamp’ her first response will be ‘is there a Minecraft one?’ Anyway we showed her the trailer & as soon as the trailer ended she just looked at me & said ‘that’s not steve. I don’t want to watch that.’ I’m gutted as she was genuinely hyped for it & her disappointment broke my heart abit BUT it does mean that we don’t have to sit through it (which is a bonus) Maybe when it’s on Netflix she’ll give it a try.
700 USD, no, just no. I could buy a bog standard desktop PC for that price, not a gaming specific PC but still, that'll be enough to play games at medium to low for the next 5-7yrs. Consoles should never cost more than around 500 dollars, consoles should be a loss leader they make bank from accessories and shit. I'm not sure I'm going to bother with next gen stuff, I might just upgrade my PC from now on, cause... fuck that.
