I received mine a couple days ago- set up and now ready to try first cut- QUESTION- which cutting mat do you use if you want to use one for thick paper, instead of the ES - 12 X 12- for cameo or is there something else just for curio? I am worried about damaging protective mat since they are not easy to find available yet.
None of the new machines are listed in the Silhouette Studio under Page Setup Panel -> Machine. I have the Portrait 4 being shipped to me currently. So the new machines cannot be used with Silhouette Studio yet? I'm confused.

I’ve seen on the release that if you touch the ES where the clear sheet doesn’t cover,it will shock you…I’m not sure how safe this would be if a child or pet accidentally touched it,or even yourself….

You need to get the debris tray and a 12x12 standard cutting mat
Does the Curio 2 do scoring and double scoring like the maker 3?

I"m not sure I understand your question. The ES mat/base are included with the Curio 2.

Good question - I'm not sure at this point. I'd need to try it. The ES mat is not required it's only an option
