I liked the "mini" boss on Ragnarok, The Ice queen or what it was called, a big worm of sorts.. I bred many Daedon's and went there many times to get loot.. Anything similar on Crystal isles?
My housemate and I started up a Island two player and while not vanilla, we've followed some of your pattern for fun. I just did the base shell today and two greenhouses, I think I'll use that ovis pen idea too, it's great!

A tip for anyone catching this series like I am during lockdown, you can stack railings two high to keep the ovis from escaping their pen while also keeping the wood theme. :)

It was really an unplanned 1 as I don't remember having a goal before I started this episode like doing a cave or taming something I always think that if someone can make it to episode 10 that they might give the whole thing a try. It's insane how much the net harpoon has changed all taming. Thyla's are massively easier now. Draw them in, net em tranq or equus to the forehead and put a gate barrier and or spikes around them and you're done... well pretty much anyways.
Can you do a video about how to breed and mutation? I would like to know more about the process that you do with the Argentavis there. And beside, good work. I really like your video 👍👍👍
I don't know if you killed or kept the other two illuminated blue ones but I would think a good name for them would have been Twilight Azura or radiance
I can never make my mind up between playing single player with SP settings buff or without. I’ve got like 1000 hours playing ark and I still haven’t finished the game for beat any of the bosses and that’s because I keep restarting.
There have been a speed run or two. But they're with extremely tweaked settings. So much so, that it's barely even Ark anymore. One-shotting big dinos because the tames get an insane stat boost when tamed, etc.. It's still interesting, but don't expect to see some awesome Ark strategy. It's a different kind of strategy.
It's complicated lol. It's part selective breeding, part luck/RNG, with a dash of obsessive teaching/comparison to get the super tames. Any bred dino can get stats from either parent. Either parent can have good or bad stats, so it's best to start by getting offspring with the best individual stats you can tame. (Wild levels are random) takes a few tries to get the best from just 2 parents, and usually you want at least 3 stats (hp, melee, stam for example). At any point you can get a mutation that will boost stats more, in addition to getting a color that wild dinos can't get in one color region. There's a limit to how many mutations you can stack on a single dino, but I forget what it is. Probably dozens of breeds to just get your 3 stat base before mutations.
There's really no such a thing as a 'colour mutation', every mutation changes a stat and a colour, even if the stat doesn't show when it's in speed, and a colour doesn't show on dinos that have don't have all six colour regions.

I did this it was a level 196 i got it in the trap shot it about 35 times and i ran out went to get more ammo and it was gone😭
