I recently found some great thylas on scorched earth triangle. And I started breeding them to get the best stats and I got extremely lucky. I got three different mutations one was on melee and the other was hp. Not sure what the third was. But the colors where spectacular. I got one that was blue and red. One that was your favorite color green and another which is my favorite blue green combo. Needless to say they made for a great deathworm army. They would just melt them.

Phlinger is as hooked on breeding up good Thylas as Iguana is with doing so with Griffins & Equus.

With his current cuddle interval multiplier (0.035) if you set the maturation scaling to 85 it’ll only take about 1 hour for a Rex to mature and you’ll only need to fulfil 4 imprint requests to get 100% imprint on the Rex. This is for those that don’t wanna wait around for a long time for their Rex’s to grow up or if you’re doing mutation stacks this cuts the time down by half, also makes getting imprints done a little easier and less punishing if you miss it by a minute or two.
Another option, particularly if you're not using a mod like S/SS+ for the Nanny (best thing in the game) but don't want to hang around for ages is use the console command "slomo". Alters the passage of time while not being too "cheaty", in that you can get your creatures to full grown much quicker, without messing around with setting, and not have to wait for ages for imprinting.
@@gestaltdude I may use S+ in the future but for now I’m doing a playthrough of all the story related maps without the use of mods. Good tip though. That slomo idea I may use at some point too as mutation stacks take so long especially on the island where finding a good high level Rex (or anything really) can take so damn long.
@@Bobasaurus2 I'd actually recommend going with Super Structures Plus, it more up to date, plus I believe has a few cool gadgets etc that the original lacks. Good luck with your playthrough.
@@gestaltdude well when I do decide to go with a modded playthrough I’ll definitely give that one a look at and thanks, just about to take on the alpha broodmother for the third time, after farming loot caves for better megatherium saddles so fingers this works this time. 😅

Is cryopod cool down not a thing on pc, or is there a way to shut that off? On my Xbox I have 2 wait 5 minutes between taking each dino out or they experience cryosleep.

What are you settings for solo play I.e scavenging harvesting weight so I could play with the same settings on single player
I might be missing something but why not level up the dinos before breeding them? Do those stats not...add?
Nope, so when breeding it is 100% off base stats, this is also why you don’t imprint them because those stats won’t transfer over.

Hey Phlinger I was just wondering what are your breeding stats right now? Are they the same as the ragnarok or different? (Like for the imprinting and such)

@@oldbandwagon8797 the ragnarok one right? Isn't that the one where u get 100% imprinting every time? Bc if it is how did phlinger get 75% (not trying to sound aggressive just genuinly interested)
@@aspectfi1144 I think he went over his Rag stats in one of his Livestreams? I can't recall anything about always 100% imprinting, though. I'm sure it can be easily manipulated.
I used to use Single Player settings on a private server with a few friends. Our settings were set up to where all animals Thyla and smaller were 100% on one imprint. Rexes were 50, spinos 25, so on. These were our stats if you're interested. (Heavily influenced by Phlinger, of course!)
Egg Hatch Speed: 135
Baby Mature Speed: 20
Baby Cuddle Interval Multiplier: 0.035
These settings work without Singleplayer Settings, but they don't give terribly high imprints. But if there is a way to get 100% imprint on one go, I'm very interested, too!

It's really tight with the thylas on Phlingers settings. You have to claim them immediately when they are born and have every imprinting stuff on your body standing over them.

U can manually set them to 0.0 actually. In SP at least. Just note that once you log out , it automatically jumps back to 1.0 so make sure everything is off of breeding.

I know there will be some crazy Thylas on Gen2, so if you can't bring them over, you can at least tame some.
Gen 2 has better thyla, IMO
