SNORKELING AT RAFFLES MALDIVES 🐠🦈 Our Favorite House Reef for Snorkeling in 2023 (4K UHD)

Come with us to the incredible house reef of Raffles Maldives Meradhoo. We had the chance to stay 7 nights in this luxury 5* resort and were particularly impressed by the beauty of the house reef.
Even though it was not the fishiest reef we've snorkeled (for that, we would recommend any reef in Baa Atoll), it was very likely the most beautiful we've seen. The coral regrowth is really impressive and you'll be snorkeling in some beautiful coral gardens at Raffles Maldives.

The best spot to snorkel is near the arrival jetty, but you'll also find some very nice spots between the Spa and the Firepit. Near the overwater villas, we would recommend snorkeling on the sunrise side. The sunset side is unfortunately still very dead and has no specific interest. This is maybe what was a bit disappointing about the snorkeling at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo. It is very irregular. Some areas are absolutely beautiful, and others are very average or even bad.
Therefore, in order to have the best snorkeling experience at Raffles Maldives, do try the areas we recommend.
At the end of the video, you'll also find a few diving shots and it was maybe one of my favorite dives in the Maldives ever. The corals were absolutely stunning and so was the fish life. After the dive, when coming back to the boat, there were 3 Manta Rays swimming around so we just jumped back in the water and got the chance to snorkel for 30 minutes with these beautiful creatures.
Overall, the snorkeling at Raffles Maldives was really impressive and it currently makes it our favorite house reef for snorkeling in the Maldives in 2023.

Your video is amazing!! Which place is better to snorkel Compared with Park hyatt ? Both are good resorts, but I’m hesitating where to go . 😢

Ohhhh, both Park Hyatt and Raffles are AMAZING for snorkeling. We also published a video about Park Hyatt snorkeling so you can check it out and make your own opinion. The reef at Park Hyatt is globally better, but I would say that the best spot of Raffles is better than the best spot of Park Hyatt.
