They're hard to find anymore Ialaina, but sometimes you can find games at the local bowling center if you've got one of those near you!

Yes its' a very nice cabinet.
My local bowling alley used to have this. But they replaced every game in the arcade for games that give you points that could use to get prizes from the front desk.

This is an amazing game and even in a nice Nintendo Arcade Cabinet game. This is my next game hunt to get my hands on but these are very hard & rare to find.

We don't get them too often, very cool cabinets though.
I want an hot tub full of Puerto Rican playboy bunnies but I'd settle for an original 1980's arcade cabinet but I'm either violently not allowed or eye's rolled not allowed. She's got a treadmill gathering dust in the back room though!

This video was released the same day as my 22nd birthday in 2016 I played this 3 in one arcade at the bogarts bowling alley in apple valley Minnesota back in 2013 it’s a really awesome arcade game ever

Great games , Never played them on real Arcade. First I played as kid was Donkey Kong JR on Nintendo 8 bit.
I saw one of these at the West Edmonton Mall in 2005 but sadly didn’t get to play it.
I haven't seen any more of them in years, they didn't make a ton of these!

The fireball is in Mario Bros, but they just appear out of thin air if you take too long to finish a level. They didn't put in Donkey Kong 3, which some people just don't like, but I like the Galaga type feel it has.

Lyn-Dee, when you can hear it but not see it that usually means the monitor has a problem, I believe these had Neotec monitors in them, there's not really a user-friendly way to fix those, the monitor will likely have to be repaired by someone. If it is a Neotec, typically those need the capacitors replaced and the flyback replaced on the monitor board.

I’m been trying to figure out why some vertical game like Pac-Man and Galaga had there monitor tilted back as compared to another vertical game Centipede which was more straight up and down. 🕹👾🕹👾
The trick on dk rivet board is to remove all the left rivets and then hit the Firefoxes with the hammer on the right side. They will respawn on the left side trapped over there. Eventually they will all congregate at.the top

I believe we sold it for $1800, can't remember but that's about what I'd sell it for now.
What kind of board did it have? I wonder if it was just running modified ROMs or if it was running an emulator to simulate all the hardware. I was also under the impression that Nintendo has never put out the original arcade DK after that run in the 80s because it doesn’t own the source code. I wonder if they had to license it or if NAMCO had to reverse engineer and recreate the game.

Namco made it but Nintendo licensed it to them. Nintendo hasn't made their own arcade games for 25 years or so, they used to do a lot of work with Midway but now do most of their stuff with Namco or even Sega.

Someone should scan that control overlay and use a simple program to tuch up the colors and then print out a new one. The cabinet is in shuch good condition otherwise it would be a shame not to. Maybe there is already a scan online that one can download.

TBF I'm pretty sure only big nintendo and/or arcade fans even know what Radar Scope is (although it would be cool to see a re release as I've never played it before (maybe an Arcade Archives release)
As for Donkey Kong 3 I'm just guessing Namco and/or Nintendo just thought Mario Bros would be more profitable (and they're probably right)

That Donkey Kong doesn’t have the original rom just like the MS Pac-Man Galaga 20th anniversary these are just arcade machines you can cheat on if Billy Mitchell was playing on that Donkey Kong I would believe he cheated but he didn’t
I wonder Why on fucking earth did namco under license from nintendo released a bundle arcade game cabinet with 3 nintendo classics on it and why 20 years later???

Nintendo hasn't made arcade games since the Nintendo Super System, so when they release arcade games to the arcade, they use other companies to actually build the games. For instance, Midway and Nintendo worked together to release "Cruis'n USA".
In 2001 Namco re-released Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga to the arcades, because the games were still being played all those years later. So they made a brand new cabinet and re-released it . It sold like wildfire, tons of operators bought them and put them in locations all over the world. In 2004 Nintendo had them do the same with this game, it wasn't as successful.

It wouldn't have done very well in 1987. Those three games weren't old enough in 1987 for people to be nostalgic for them, but they were old enough to seem primitive next to games like Double Dragon, Rastan, Rampage, Bad Dudes, etc. In my town during the '80s, I never saw the older games anywhere. I started playing arcade games regularly in 1984, and the games I played were released in 1984 (Karate Champ and Punch-Out). For any given year in the '80s, the arcade games in my town ranged from brand new to about two years old at the oldest.

It's actually just a cheap Samsung HMX-F90... we'll probably upgrade ourselves down the road a little bit, it has trouble without a TON of light, since we film at night it doesn't really come out HD.
