I may have to update my ruby build again similar to this, the queens wings having unbending will passive built-in makes it better built earlier for sustainers now and to add extra dmg
yes highly recommend. I now use the War Axe+Queens Wings combo since these 2 works so good together. Sometimes i also build Oracle if i want more frontline sustain during teamfights.
War Axe Queen's Wings by now should be the default for these skill-based sustain fighters. The synergy of these items on these guys is just through the roof!

Anyways id be REALLY appreciative if you make some sort of guide on the wishing lantern! The moment the update came out i went to training mode and gave damage bots both radiant armor and tough boots and used kagura but full build (CDR build) and kept replacing glaive with lantern. From what i saw i believe up to 25% hp and above. Wishing lantern does more damage than glaive but under that it becomes almost useless? I like testing this stuff but i get bored too quickly lol so id appreciate a video on it if the item isnt getting any nerfs or buffs!
Well, early season ranked matchmaking is horrible, so you're not missing out on much! 😊 As for Wishing Lantern, my opinion is that it's not a must buy item. It's similar to DHS in that it's really bad when enemy HP is low, so it doesn't do much if the enemy is already low hp. The best case to buy wishing lantern is when the enemy has at least 2 or 3 tanky enemies. That way, it actually has significant use compared to something more easily maximised such as Lightning Truncheon.

Blue buff gives 10% cdr so when u have brute force chestplate as 3rd item u will have 40%cdr which is good
Edit: I don't count boots
Yup, the purple buff will give 10% CDR but you might not have 100% uptime on the buff (enemy or teammate can steal, especially in solo-q), so I still like to go for max 40% CDR anyways. 😄

I don't think u need hunter strike as long as queen wings and sky piercer give u 105 attack with +15 movement speed and dmg increase with hp decrease that QW got which can replace hs
Also I don't think sky piercer is a good item if it second It should be 4th cause war axe gives 10% cdr, hp and dmg after it should be QW

Ive been stuck in epic since reset season😭😭 solo ranked and everytime is defeat mvp loss
It's usually rough during the early parts of the season as it's basically a casino out there with former immortal and glory players being mixed with hard stuck epic players. You might want to play classic or smth else for the first few weeks 🤣

😂 That's interesting. He's pretty good now so maybe try him out! Then you can be Alpha playing Alpha! For Retri, the easiest tip is to combo your Retri with your highest DMG skill for surprise burst dmg. This will mess up the enemy Retri timing. Other than that, it's mostly just practice and timing 👍

Yeah, CoD would be better if the enemy have one shot heroes.
I have tried Sky cancer on Cecilion but u should go with other items like ice queen wand or holy crystal.
Kagura can be a good candidate for sky cancer but I build it after Genius wand, u can build usual items for her since her burst damage has been buffed.

Clock of Destiny will have minimal impact against sudden burst since it has low base HP, and the DEF gain from Passive can only be stacked when dealing Magic DMG to enemy heroes. So unless you already have stacks when the enemy bursts you, you're better of buying actual Defense items like Immortality, Athena's Shield, etc. I'd suggest going Winter Crown if you can time it well to counter the burst of specific heroes like Yin or Harley.
I think Sky Piercer can be played on any mage, but it's best to build Sky Piercer when the enemies are actually tanky. Sky Piercer isn't actually that OP as it seems against squishy targets unless you manage to somehow maintain 60 stacks throughout to get to the 12% threshold, which require 6 kills consecutively to begin with. I think actually it's better to go with the traditional Magic items than wasting the slot on Sky Piercer in that case.
Is he good with Thunderbelt as first item? I kinda want to see fully maximized potential of thunderbelt, i tried 2 match with it, Rafaela only got ~20 stack on 18 minutes tho all of my team are squshy here, Lolita got ~20 stack around 15 minutes... Maybe it was actually made for explaners....
I feel like Thunderbelt is probably "balanced" for now, maybe slightly underpowered? It can be strong with certain heroes, but otherwise not too crazy. I think Thunderbelt is fine with Alpha, but you probably won't get many stacks in Jungle especially since you don't actually encounter enemies as much as a Roamer or EXP Laner would. Also, I think there're much better items to prioritize over Thunderbelt as Alpha.
@@RubyRubyRubyGameplay yeah, i kinda want them to be good for jungler and roamer, maybe make it cd 3 sec for jungler/roamer, shouldn't be that hard right? They made halved effects for mm/mage or something like that for other item as well... Dunno... I don't know programming

I was also thinking it'd be good if they reduced it to around 3secs, but I'm not sure if that'd be too strong for some heroes... Well, I'll leave the balancing to them 😂

From my experience, these are the best heroes for Thunderbelt: Gatotcaka, Thamuz, Sun, Ruby, Carmilla, Arlott, Roger, Edith, Johnson, Khufra, Chip, Frederinn.
I bet that they are gonna rebalance everything after the tournament.

I think it's pretty good with the sustain build I'm going for since I'm fighting usually more 3s and War Cry will easily be in effect most of the time 😊
I'm loving Alpha this season, his damage and sustain are amazing.
Carmilla is really underrated too, she can 1v1 marksmen even in the late game, but she requires teammates with a little bit of brain...which is rare.
Yeah, Alpha is really nice with the War Axe and Queen's Wings buff! I'll have to play Carmilla soon too 😁

@@egeabali Tank roamers were never meta though...tank junglers were.
At late game you can buy magic potion to get extra cooldown and you will have 45% cdr which is quite good to spam skills for heroes like alpha. I use magic potion in exp lane with yz too for cooldown and when I play tank I buy magic potion for late game it is helpful to support team.
But to have 45% cdr u have to buy the enchanted talisman(book item) and such a waste tho

@Mardalozette is 100% Correct. You cannot exceed 40% CDR UNLESS you have Enchanted Talisman. Buying Magic Potion alone doesn't allow you to exceed that limit and reach 45% CDR. Don't just take my word for it, go try it out in Practice Mode and confirm it yourself.

i would swap brute force for a defensive item when losing or the new kill secure item piercing sword or something when winning, Brute force is unnecessary in my opinion. there are much better items out there.
