Oh Flog, you just made me reminisce about my childhood. The grassy fields were so much wider, the night longer, the stars brighter and so much more. I used to climb trees! the world was so much further and the sky closer.
My friends and I used to play so many games. Hide and Seek was much fun, the threat of getting caught worth so much more. Tag used to make my heart race in excitement. Sticks became swords, Kites were our wings, paper boats were our ships.
I hate you and love you at the same time for making me remember.
it makes me sad that kids of today would never know how fun a blackout was. the thrill of running just for fun, coming home dirty and tired after a full day of play with the biggest smile on our face and an impatience for tomorrow. No phones, No jobs, No judgments or concerns for the opinions of others who we don't know of or will ever truly value.
Through all the good and bad and everything in between. It may not have been as great as others, but it was mine. Thank you for reminding me today.
The days where it's okay to be ignorant, The days where everything is an adventure, Days where everything is full of wonders. The days where you can just play all day without the worries in the world, I just want to go back there. But now I can't, those days are over, now there just MEMORIES.

There's a reason Christ says we must have the heart of a child to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. It doesn't mean to abandon reason or higher thought, but to embrace the wonder, to know how small we really are, and how wonderous he is, to humbly accept with that beautiful innocence of childhood his friendship and lordship over our lives. Humanity is far fallen, but in children we can still see a glimpse of what we were meant to be.
Music like this reminds me to keep the wonder, to keep living life not letting cynicism or modern nihilistic philosophies deaden that wonder-filled heart I was meant to have. I've found an immense joy in doing so, even in hardships, there is always something deep down to keep me going. That's what faith is for, a shield against the flaming darts of the enemy.

I remember the days where left to the imagination then anything was possible. I remember the days when being mischievous was something innocent for one's curiosity. I remember the days where looking up to someone made them seem like giants. I remember the days where each day was filled with life and freedom for adventure with no worries. Ignorance was bliss until reality hits hard. But I'll always remember...
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to tell you my experience.
I won't lose my point in a sea of words, I'm just going to say "Ehy! Hear me out! It's possible!"
It truly is. It's possible to start thinking like a child again. To re-ignite imagination. To open up the gates of wonder. It's possible to live a carefree life, with the knowledge of adulthood. It's not immediate, it's not easy, but it's definitely possibile.
I did it! Even if I sometimes I lose track of myself and I have to remember myself who I want to be, I found my younger self inside me. It was there all the time.
Being a child isn't easy. It's simple.
It's not pain free. It's joyful.
It's being grateful for all the blessings you have and beginning to believe in magic again.
And I promise you that it is possible!

You already there mate. Just don't do the mistakes we already know, that's the true meaning of childhood. But environment teasing us do the wrong thing again and again that we begin to normalisation. Childhood is wonderful because we don't dissapoint ourself. Follow your heart, cherish the moment, never give up forever.

The best thing about my childhood was being loved and cared for by a wonderful mother even though she did have to be tough with me at times.
