I'm a super Gaga fan, but I know for a fact that she did not sell 56million from just one album. her combined album sales are like 25 mill with 65 mil singles.
Plus, you can't compare with album sales and youtube views because both artists hit their prime in different decades with different technologies.

In Bad Romance she has a sadomasochistic relationship with a man and she chooses to leave him in the end similarly the music industry uses her although she likes the overall experience.
Telephone is her fear of suffocation. She's not so much worried about the telephone in her pocket but rather the one ringing in her head if you will; she doesn't want to lose her sanity

She was on the show "boiling point" once and I couldn't believe it was her, because of fame, she seems to have become a different person. I dunno her so I can't say to much, except for the facts on her appearance. She seems like a completely fake person, she never shows herself at all. Bare, is the best, no masks, just them.

@@HailZod Actually, the song itself is supposed to represent her fear of commitment with men; hence, the intro line "I know that you may love me, but I just can't be with you anymore." Then begins the cycle of going through different relationships that end up failing.
As for the men themselves, they're references to some key people in her life at the time this song was produced. Alejandro being Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide 2 months before this song was announced as a single. Fernando Garibay, who was the producer for some of the songs on the album like, "Dance in the Dark," who's obviously "Fernando" here. Then finally, Rob Fusari, another producer who worked with Gaga to produce "Paparazzi," who plays the part of "Roberto."
As for the blasphemous depiction of religious imagery in the music video, well, that's just for fun. We all like to have fun.

I love that people always say "x is best artist out there ecc" ans then there are tons of comments disagreeing...but with Gaga you can freely say it and no one is going to contradict you, she is really out of the world and her style and presence is so unique and all rounded that NO ONE COMPARES. She writes her music, the lyrics are beautiful and the contents are deep, she is experimental, her dance is average because of her style but I guess she is an amazing dancer too, she has a marvellous voice, she is a vocalist, she has a unique stage presence, she understands music, she understand fashion, she is original...like, isn't she tired to be like this? Too untouchable as an artist. And she seems humble too. Like, I've always been an hardcore fan of another pop artist (I'm not going to say who to not create drama), but a really hardcore fan for years, but I've come to realise that Lady Gaga is MY ARTIST. She is my new first inspiration (no offence to my old number 1 artist tho ahah)
