    Note: the Resy credit will work for purchases made directly with the merchant, including GCs when available. You don't have to book through Resy, the restaurant just has to be listed on Resy.

      So I can just go to any restaurant listed on RESY website, dine there, and pay with my Amex gold card and it will trigger the credit? Also, do I need to pay at least $50?

    • @PointsPrecision
      @PointsPrecision หลายเดือนก่อน

      @titiung correct. You can use less than $50 at a time and will receive a statement credit for the full amount, up to $50, but breaking it into multiple transactions is fine.

    Why have two toddlers do this? What adults don’t spend a lot of restaurants and groceries?

    Pretty excited for these changes. Resy is huge in New York and the Dunkin credit is welcome too.
    I understand why it's a bad proposition if you live in an area without much stuff on Resy or if you don't frequent Dunkin or any of the other establishments that qualify for the other $120 annual credit, though. Def not for everyone.

    At least it’s not a 7 dollar credit at Starbucks it won’t even get a medium latte

    So in my use case we spent 49k in groceries from 1/1/23-7/25/24 37.8k was in the gold in that time and the other 12k was split between two CFF with the 5x grocery offers.
    Then another 32k on dining. So while I’m not close on the 50k in dining I think I get good value out of the card. I normally go to Dunkin 1-2 times a month so the new credit covers the increased fee for me. However, there isn’t a single resy restaurant of interest for me in the 3 cities I visit monthly for work (Chicago, Indy, Philly). So, I’m hoping I can find something in NYC or DC when I visit friends.

    I have used the rest a few times and I found it helpful when visiting new areas to find some good eating options. The places weren't always high end places either. Several had decent food options in the 15-25 dollar per plate range.

    No annual fee of Chase FLEX. 3% on restaurants. Then transfer using Chase Sapphire preferred or Chase ink preferred to partners.

    I feel like the 💳got better but it's still not worth it after year 1. Why pay $325 a year for a bunch of credits and 4x grocery/dining when you could get a SavorOne and pay $0 a year and get 3x grocery/dining?

      Still another forced spend item. Adding to the coupon book amex likes to milk.
      So still devalued. Cause pre-paying Dunkin for the year is weird.

      They also added $100 in Resy credits. At least now you can come out ahead….

    Now is better for first time have more credit that the annual fee and 4x dining and grocery is very solid. Amex have Delta transfer partner: transfers the points and if you fly only Delta is solid
