- The second of the video's of my Weekend at The Leek & Rudyard Railway 2018 Steam Gala.
Merlin, King Arthur, Pendragon and Excalibur and Guest Loco Nelly operated an intensive Freight and Passenger service with Rudyard Lady, Ferret and Frances occasionally joining in the fun
The North Staffs Model Engineering Society were also offering train rides to visitors to the Railway over the weekend
Many Thanks to everyone at The Leek & Rudyard Railway for all the hard work they put into producing another excellent Steam Gala and for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

Yes and they thoroughly enjoy it.
Another cracking event, good to see that the rain didn't put the visitors off.
There was quite a few people enjoying the gala despite the rather changeable weather.
I'm thinking of visiting this years gala, is there a path alongside the railway?
Yes there is a path the full length of the Railway.

This railway is doing something right in getting young people I wonder what the trick is 😀😀 I'm 32 and I volunteer at a railway soon two west lancashire light railway and soon ribble steam railway
Yes they do have a few young volunteers. Very friendly place with plenty of opportunities for learning new skills.
