  • Scottish football fan Craig Ferguson received a hero's welcome as he arrived in central Munich's picturesque Marienplatz on Thursday (June 13), having walked almost 1,000 miles (1,600 km) from Glasgow over the last 41 days to raise money for men's mental health charities

    Props to the guy. Celebs do it but they've got a team organising food, accommodation, toilet arrangements, showers, clothes changes, route planning etc.

      Not necessarily. Some people travel very frugally and being fancy homeless hopping low cost countries is cheaper than living in the UK (although not in this case as he was travelling through very developed countries) and you can work while travelling.
      (Source: I did this for 1 year)
      But in this case he’s just done it as a special event. Might only have a grand or two in the bank and living at parents… or got 2 months off work bc he was raising money for charity.
      Sorry for rambling but 1000 possible scenarios, not necessarily rich
