Beginners would be smart to wear some protective gear: gloves/ wrist guards, knee pads and elbow pads as well as the helmet. The 5 tips are very good.

Beginners? Everyone should wear gear. Taking a fall at 20+ MPH is going to mess you up no matter what your skill level is.

Another tip is to learn how to fall properly to minimize injuries. If you feel that you are going to fall, don't throw your arms out like super man sliding into third base.
You have to drop your stance, tuck your head in, Put your shoulder forward and roll into as best you can. Check out basic gymnastic tumbling videos or jujitsu tutorials that show tumbling and practice on the carpet or grass.
Most long time skaters eventually learn this the hard way, including myself, but if I had learned to fall from the start I would have got hurt alot less.
Good luck, you beginners, be safe and have fun! 👍😎👍

I think is a mistake start on an Electric skateboard …if you have never skate before…
A push board/longboard is the way to go, for someone without experience….

It annoyed me how she said "it's about time I scooted home". It's skated. It's a fucking skateboard.

Excellent tips for new learners to keeping safe. Learned longboarding long before electric and so true to push to familarize yourself with the board + running speed to start! Yay for goofy foot eskaters🤪. Now make a video for learn the one wheel. 👍😆 I want to learn.

Another great tip: train on a cheap longboard a couple of months if your not used to skate…. 😉
